Must Have
Great fit, comfort, look. I've been looking for steel toe sandals for years since my Caterpillar sandals wore out. The Keen steel toe sandal is well built, not too heavy, and great to keep cool

Keen Atlanta II
As someone who has loved Keen shoes and work boots, these were a definite shift to an entire different kind of pair of shoes. They aren’t quite sandals and they aren’t typical tennis shoes either. They are really just typical Keen shoes with large gaps taken out of the material for more breathability within the shoes. They offer the same great support and comfort that I am used to with the Keen brand but, also add the bonus of a opened aired sandal type of design. The steel toe is still there which works great for protection against the toe box but, seems kindve odd when it’s paired with these large gaps within the structure of the shoe. While I do like them, I can’t see many scenarios where these would be go to shoes. The other oddity is that they really only look good with black socks. White socks and multi colored socks only add to their overall odd appearance.Overall, I would still recommend based on the comfort but, it is an odd design.

In the heat of the day, sometimes I just don't want to sweat inside a pair of work boots. Until now ... I didn't have a choice. These utility shoes are so comfortable and they SLIP ON.Right!?!??!?!I got these ... they are beautifully packaged and just ooze quality. These utility shoes performed well under my testing. The shoes themselves are partially durable water resistant leather. The soles are a thick rubber but still have some resilience to them even though they are a solid platform. I wear them all day and it still feels like I am wearing sandals. These slip ons come in at just a hair under 3 lbs. They are easy to slip on and adjust to the tightness that you desire with a quick adjustment. While they have strapping across the top and venting on the sides. They are secure and feel solid much like wearing a boot. The steel toe is wide and you cannot even feel it there but you know you have the extra protection when you drop something on your toe. The slip ons allow good air flow and let your feet breathe. In testing, I found these to put up with anything that I threw at them. The soles are anti-slip and durable. I worked under my Jeep for a few hours and the shoes shows no scratches or abrasions. I feel confident in their ability to protect my feet. They are literally like wearing sandals but just heavier.I tested the steel toes under a few strikes from a sledge hammer and while there was an abrasion on the toe leather. It did not damage the steel toe.All in all, I found these utility slip ons to be durable and the perfect solution for hotter days or when you just don't want to string up boots. They offer excellent anti-slip soles and protection and you don't have to worry about getting them dirty. They can take a licking and still do their job without complaint. I just found my Go-To shoes and when these wear out .. I will be replacing them with another pair of KEENs. The product is quality in material and workmanship. But my favorite feature is they go on and come off in seconds. Definitely recommend this product. This product is made in the U.S.A.

Great steel toe sandals for warmer weather
I'm usually pretty safe when it comes to working around our small farm, but I do live in a place where it is hot most of the year, so I thought I would try these Keen steel toe sandals. Who knows when I might drop something like a log or a piece of equipment on my foot? These shoes are actually more like combination of running shoes and sandals. On the day I received them I wore them for about 4 hours in 70 degree weather. The first thing I will say is that the toe box is large enough that I didn't even feel the steel toes! I have tried a number of other brands of steel toe shoes and usually they are too narrow, which means I could feel the edge of the steel toes in the other shoes -- but not these. The toe box in these is plenty wide!I generally wear size 10 in work shoes/boots so I ordered these in size 10. They are very comfortable even though they seem slightly big for my feet. I possibly could have gone with a size 9 but I have made the mistake of buying work shoes a "little too small" before, and this has always been a mistake. So I am very happy with these size 10's. Now that the weather has changed and gotten cool I won't be wearing them until next spring, but I'm looking forward to it.These shoes have one-piece stretch laces that are tightened by a cord lock. I was afraid that the cord lock would loosen by sliding on the laces as I moved around, but this did not happen. Nevertheless it may happen in the future. And for me anyways, the laces are a little bit longer than necessary, so I ended up tucking the loose ends under the crossed laces at the front of the shoes rather than letting them hang where I might step on them or where they might get caught on something and trip me up.Bottom line:These are excellent steel toe shoes for warm climates. They won't keep the crap out because of the open ventilation spaces, and they won't keep your feet dry if it rains, but I think they are going to be great for me to wear starting next spring when it warms up again. One final note, I was surprised that they felt warmer than expected on the 70 degree day I wore them -- not hot, but not as cool as I had anticipated.
