This mook jong is heavier and steadier than you might think. I looked around for quite a while before purchasing, and I don't think you'll find a better buy for the price. It comes with assembly instructions, but you won't need them: the design is intuitive and easy. One problem: the leg attachment didn't fit through the hole. After about half an hour of careful filing and sawing (trying not to take out too much), we slipped the leg through. The striking pads are thin, but they help a lot anyway. I set the device in a corner of my home gym and placed two 35-pound dumbbells on the back of base to help stabilize it, and that has worked pretty well, and the dumbbells are right there when I need them. The mj may shift position slightly when you strike it, but as long as you don't really pound it, it should work well--I use it nearly every day. Recommended.

I received this yesterday, and was able to put it together today. It comes with a booklet for putting it together. There is not a lot of written instructions; it’s mainly pictures. Being that said, you must pay extra close attention to the pictures orientation of the boards, and which screws are used. The screws, washers, bolts and pieces are clearly defined with number and letters to correspond to them. However on the physical peices themselves they are not marked. Personally, I was fine with this because they’re all different in their own ways so identifying which piece is what from a picture was straightforward. It took me about 30 minutes to fully assemble it.The body of the dummy has lots of places where it has cracked, it looks like a small tree that was stripped and manufactured accordingly. While cosmetic, it is okay enough to practice with.The arms of the dummy have some cracks at the ends where the pins go to keep them in place. I foresee the arms going and needing to replace them sooner rather than later. But I am just now learning the forms so I’ll take it extra gentle on it until I can find some replacements that match its color. I deducted 2 stars for the cracks that show through the thick paint (one and a half for the body, and half for the arm).I love the color of it, and how small it is. This will make it good to fit inside my home. Total weight was 112 pounds fully assembled (Type Q for reference). I also love the price point since I’m broke with kids lol.In this, unless you want one that is flawless you will pay thousands for. I can’t afford that, so this one was the next best option. Aesthetically it is nice to look at, and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I plan to weight it down further with some dumbbells to keep it from moving around.Overall, for the price and how tall it is, I couldn’t be happier. It was easy to set up, and will allow me to start practicing the techniques on my own time. If it wasn’t for the cracks, I would have given it 5/5 stars.

I initially thought I was going to have a delivery problem but it turned out it was delivered to my neighbor. Other than that this item is excellent quality and perfect for my training sessions. The customer service was prompt and polite. I will definitely purchase from this seller in the future!

I have two of these.Best wooden dummy for the price out there.It goes together easy, height sets easy.Correct configurations. DurableIt's HEAVY.My second one had a crack in the base when it arrived. Probably cracked in shipping as this thing is HEAVY. It did not effect useage, but they should package it a different way.
