Works with a little bit of adjustment.
Purchased this knowing it wasn’t 4k video or USB 3. Connected everything up and it didn’t work. Instructions were simple and should have worked. Things were not set at manufacturers defaults and had to adjust until it worked. There wasn’t enough info to figure out what each switch setting did, or what setting did what as far as what plugged into it. Now that it is working, I am highly recommending it.

Great for video, not for USB.
The video and audio portion works great, although one of the dip switches was in the wrong position when it arrived and the documentation is extremely lacking. Evidently all four dip switches should be in the left position. When it arrived with one of the dip switches in the right position the video worked fine but there was no HDMI audio.My complaint is the lack of USB support. I know it is listed as a KVM but the seller indicated in the Q&A that the device meets full USB 2.0 specs. It will not work with anything I have tried other than a keyboard and mouse. It works just fine with a wireless Logitech keyboard and a wireless Razer mouse if they are plugged directly into the receiver. It also does not work with an Xbox One USB dongle or with a Bluetooth dongle. I also does not work with a powered or unpowered USB 2.0 hub. All of the components I tested work when connected directly to my computer via a USB 2.0 port.

Reaaly multi-function, works fine.
This HDMI KVM fiber extender have everything I need, I just used the HDMI, USB kvm and audio ports. What's rs232 and GPIO? I really have no idea, maybe it's for someone who need these function. Got this device with so many function and really good price, I'm satisfied. Highly recommend.

where to get a technical support
Got one to try, but it does not have a way to mount it on a board. Posted a question but it disappeared without an answer. How to use RS232 and GIO, where to find driver or instruction, how to get customer support?Update:Contacted manufacture tech support, quite helpful, got my questions answered with satisfaction.

Works as described
This unit is meant to be used with fiber optic (single mode LC to single mode LC) cable. The SFP units are removable. However, they seem to be keyed. I tried switching them between the sender and receiver. One was not recognized. I swapped them back and everything worked fine.To have some backup, I tried some RJ45 SFP devices. They were not recognized by either unit. I have contacted the seller for support to see if this is an option.
