It's kind of like garlic for vampires. If it's working, you really don't know that it's working. LOL But, I guess that it's good/cheap insurance.

Zero Rust
Been using these for years in my moderately large safe (60"x42"x27"). Never had ANY rust. They essentially release a vapor that inhibits rust but doesn't leave a coating on anything (I can't feel anything). You wouldn't know they are there if you don't see them. I write the date with a sharpie so I know when to replace them. Cheapest insurance you can have for your collection.

It does it’s job
I have had good luck with this even living in Florida. I live on the coast and we have a lot of humidity and I have had zero problems while using this in my safes. I also use a sizable dehumidifier also.

Still rusts
I had a pair of pliers with minor rust which I cleaned and treated with oil. Put this in a small toolbox with it and it still rusted far worse than before.
