ViewSonic VG2440 24 Inch IPS 1080p Ergonomic Monitor with HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, USB Inputs for Home and Office

Just got this installed and fired up. Purchased to replace a flickering old Viewsonic VX2452MHc in a dual monitor setup. I needed the 3 different inputs as three different computers are hooked up. I like this monitor very much. it's color and brightness are excellent. The control buttons are on the face, not pointing down as on the old viewsonic it replaces. Also this monitor has a built in USB hub. Two ports on the back facing down and two on the left side. The monitor is of good build quality and of good heft. Not to light (cheap stuff) or to heavy. As this is on a dual display desk mount I can not speak to the stands quality and likewise to the monitors sound as that is also not hooked up.

Screen quality, size, detail, screen speed and brightness are top notch. Sad to say no written instructions for connections which made it difficult for me to figure out since I am computer illiterate. But after some perseverance I got it done right. Should not be a concern for computer smart people. I would recommend this monitor. I just surf the internet, don't play games so I can't comment about that.

I use this monitor for work, and it works as intended. It was very easy to set-up, and picture quality is good.

This is a great display. It has a clear hi-resolution screen with buttons in from and on screen programing. It is adjustable in all three axis. There are a couple of exceptions though. 1. The picture on Amazon shows a handle in the back and the manual even references it, but there is not one on this model. It makes moving it around a bit awkward. 2. The speakers are the worst I've ever heard. The system speaker on my computer has better sound and my iPhone has a LOT BETTER sound than this display does. For Zoom calls it's great, but not for anything that has music or high quality sound. 3. For Mac users: In the On Screen Display (OSD) of the monitor you can adjust almost every aspect of operation. There is a View Mode labeled MAC that is intended for Mac users. I am using this display with a 2019 Mac Pro with a AMD Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB video card MacOS 134. In the MAC View Mode, all "grayed out" font (non-selectable menu items or all font in windows that are not active) is virtually unreadable. It has ragged edges and the color is mottled. The solution to this is NOT to use the MAC View Mode from the OSD. Select any other View Mode and adjust the contrast and color to your liking.

Viewsonic has always made great monitor, now they included a webcam, microphone and speakers. Will also support USB3 and DP as well as HDMI. Looks great as expected.

I love the size of the monitor and the clarity seems sufficient. But, I was trying to reduce the number of cables on my desktop so I ordered the monitor with a built in camera. I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to switch from my macbook pro camera to the viewsonic camera, searching the viewsonic help videos. Finally I turned to youtube and discovered that while the camera is integrated, you still have to connect it via a usb cable, which I was trying to avoid. Plus, THERE WAS NO USB CABLE IN THE BOX. So now I have to buy one separately. Also, just so you know, there is no usb-c port on the monitor and no usb port on my macbook pro.

Bought a couple of these for office computers - everyone likes them very much. adjustable, thin and bright. no complaints

Le son est pourri mais l’image est bonne. Bonne solution quand on a un Mac Mini.

El micrófono se queda un poco corto, pero imagino que debe ser para que no se acople con los altavoces. Ah, por cierto, si la cámara está tapada, el micro también.
