You will never know just how good this product is and how well it will eliminate ...
You will never know just how good this product is and how well it will eliminate any odor problems that you might have in both your black water and in your grey water holding tanks unless you order a bottle and try it out yourself. For the past year or so my wife, who has a sense of smell that would rival a bloodhound, has been complaining of a terrible odor each and every time the toilet was flushed. Since I can't smell at all I never noticed it. I tried everything in the book to try and eliminate that problem. I flushed the tank good, bought and used a tank wand, used different chemicals both specialized products for RV's as well as a few home remedies from YouTube. Alas nothing I did made one bit of difference. Still had that odor. One night I was surfing through YouTube trying to latch on to some new ideas when I happened to run across a video advertising TankTechsRx. Needless to say I was a bit skeptical. I'm wondering why if this is such a great product for an RV holding tank then why does Camping World not stock it and sell it? I decided to research a little further and ended up watching a lot of YouTube videos of people who had used this product and reading every review I could find. In all the watching and reading I didn't see a single negative comment so I decided that I would order a bottle and try it myself. Well let me tell you friends, this had to be the best thirty something dollars I have ever spent. I flushed out the black water tank as per the instructions on the bottle, put about 5 gallons of water in and added about 2 ozs, yes you heard right 2 ozs and let it perform it's magic for about a week. My wife and I spent the past weekend in the RV and not one single complaint from her. THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and order a bottle. I don't believe you will ever regret it.I can't speak to the claim that it will clean and restore the level sensors in your tank because my RV is only a couple of years old and I am not having sensor problems as of yet. I have absolutely no doubt that it will do everything it is advertised to do. Bless the man who invented this product. All smiles here.

This works...even good enough to unclog a Pyramid Plug!
This stuff WORKS!!...even on a stubborn Pyramid Plug!We had a problem...a big, messy problem. Bought a used RV and you never know how the previous owner used the tank, how well they cleaned it, etc. Our problem showed up while camping...stopped up toilet pipe. Apparently we had what is called a Pyramid Plug, which totally clogged the pipe and wouldn't let water from toilet drain into tank. Hubby tried using a plumbing snake with no results. So research led me to the Tank Tech RX site where they told how to make a tool from hardware store supplies to put a hole in the clog for drainage. While this was a good temporary fix, the problem plug was still there and would rear its ugly head if we didn't kill the monster. I will say that in my desperation I put a dose of the minty smelling chemical holding tank granules that I had in stock in the RV in hopes that during the trip home and subsequent (3 week) storage it'd work to clear the clog. That didn't happen. So I ordered TankTechsRX, put 2 ounces in, filled the tank to about 2/3rds, and let it sit for 3 weeks. Result? CLOG GONE!! A whole bucket of water dumped into the toilet doesn't shoot back up into the room. (a sign that there is a clog or near-clog). And the tank sensor is reading correctly for the first time since we've owned this camper. We've been through 5 day camping trip of using the toilet for both liquids and solids and Angel Soft toilet tissue and have had no problems whatsoever! Kudos to TTRX for not only working so well, but clearing up a definite plug problem. You gotta love natural products that work so well...you go, you tiny probiotics!!

Good for cleaning, not for everyday use
Well, I can't say it was the best. They weren't kidding when they said in order for it to work you have to use A LOT of water. The tank odor got progressively worse the longer I used it. I was "offending" my neighbors. I couldn't take it either. I was having to literally poor extra water into the toilet every time I used it. If I am going to have to do that, why use anything. I am a full time RV'er and a bunch of people I know don't use anything. They just wait until the tank is full and empty it down to about a quarter. They said this bacteria I am using is already in the tank. If I don't empty it all the way, I will have some in there for the next tank full. That is what you have to do with this stuff, also. So what is the point of this? I ended having to do 6 flushes of my tank to get everything out of it. There was inches of yuck on the bottom of the tank that the built in flush system couldn't get out. I have never had this. Spotless after every tank dump. Here is the only use I have found for this stuff. I used it to clean my black tank and its sensors after this debacle. (Did I mention my sensor lights were stuck on after this, also?) So I partially filled my tank with water. I poured 4 ounces in. I then filled it full and I mean full. I had it a hair below the toilet seal. I then let it sit for about 2 1/2 days, maybe 3. Next, I turned on the tank flush full blast and opened the drain. The last bit of sludge was gone and all of the sensors were off.By the way, I don't use chemicals anymore. I use a detergent mixture a friend told me about. I fill the bowl with about 3 cups of water no matter why I use it. I dump and flush once a week. It's like I'm growing roses down there now.
