Our rattan is made from polyethylene synthetic wicker fibers that are solid color throughout the entire weave strand. The rattan is UV and weather-resistant, insensitive to temperature changes, resistant to fading and mildew in all weather conditions. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and made from dense 100% polyethylene that is recyclable and PVC free. Accelerated lab tests were performed to ensure durability and resistance to the effects of weather and sunlight for many years. Each piece is expertly hand woven by skilled artisans over a reinforced and welded heavy gauge all aluminum powder coated frame that is extremely strong, corrosion and rust proof, and able to accommodate weights in excess of 300 lbs per seat without sagging or incurring damage. Includes thick aluminum feet that each have a slip resistant, no mark nylon pad that is safe on most flooring surfaces. The rattan is designed specifically for year-round, outdoor, all-weather use, and is able to withstand the effects of weather, moisture and sun. The rattan is safe to use by the pool or beach, without damage by chlorine or seawater exposure. It's virtually maintenance free! Occasional cleaning can be performed if desired and we recommend using only a mild soap and water.
