Indra Nooyi: A Kid's Book About Trusting Your Decisions (Mini Movers and Shakers) Paperback – April 5, 2021

I loved the simplicity of the biographical information highlighting one life achievement being presented in a way that anyone can takeaway a life skill message was so effective. A book that both children and adults could learn from.

I was very excited when I saw this Movers and Shakers new book. I had no idea who she was, but I knew by the end of the book she would become a piece of history I would remember and enjoy learning about. I was right. Ms Nhin writes these books where they are easy to understand for the young ones and a wonderful woman for adults to know. I highly recommend this book and the Mini Movers and Shakers Series.Indra Nooyi was a guitar player in a rock band and considered strange. Her mother wanted to arrange a marriage for her. She was allowed to come to America to study. She worked hard and got degrees in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. You get to find out what job she took and what she did to change how the world drank. Interesting, huh?

I love this series! The tale of Indra Nooyi is another story children will delight in, be intrigued, and inspired by reading. This book is well-written with illustrations that add to the wealth of enrichment this story has to offer. In the beginning, her potential was being married off at the age of 18; she came a long way in developing healthier food for the entire world. My favorite part was Indra Nooyi's decision against the advice from colleagues to follow her heart, resulting in a benefit to us all.

This book has such a “good feel” too it! It feels good to read, to be a female, and to be concerned about being healthy. Indra has much to teach boys and girls about being successful, persistent, and purposeful in our quests for our family, career, and planet. Teachers this book would be a fabulous resource!

A wonderful book for children to learn about Indra achieving her goals and dreams. Though many doubted Indra's way of thinking to do and be better, she believed in herself and continued to break through walls and barriers to be one of the best in the business world.

We liked this book. It helps us to learn more about another influential person and the fight they went through to get where they are.

This story was another hit for my 6 year old daughter. She loved the inspirational message of Indra Nooyi’s story. It’s a must read. Illustrations were fun and kept my daughter engaged and asking for more.

I did not know Indra Nooyi’s name before my son read this book! It was cool to learn her story. For my six year old, he followed the story and was very concerned about whether she would lose her job for suggestions changes to Pepsi’s products. He was also surprised to learn about arranged marriage. His overall assessment: “it’s good!”
