I ordered this vase for Ikebana. It had good reviews and looked nice on the pictures. It is sturdy and well made and will serve its purpose. I like all about it except the golden hue. I expected it to be more toned down, but it is a very shiny and bright gold that looks tacky rather than elegant and sophisticated. It is the bright, shiny gold hue of cheap keychains. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew it would be this golden hue.

Usually I don’t use a lot of gold while decorating but I decided to change a few things. This looks so lovely on my dining table. I placed 3 smaller artificial plant pots inside & the effect is beautiful. Because it’s low profile & just the right size it doesn’t overwhelm the table.

I gave this as gifts over the holidays & it was very well received. Quite beautiful for displays. Highly recommend.
