Does it come with a hook to hold together while cooking?

Yes, it is hinged together and there is a latch on the handle to hold it shut. These are great!

How long is the warranty?

These are awful. I bought them in a pinch because they came quick. Don't buy them. Pick a different style, one that's flatter. The bread sticks terribly and doesn't fit at all.
