I have venous insufficiency which caused swollen ankles and leg pain. These stockings are just like wearing trouser socks. They are fairly easy to put on. At the end of my work day as a teacher my legs still feel great and I do not have swelling or pain. They last many months. I wash them in the sink and line dry. My insurance company used to pay for three pair a month. It is a shame how expensive they are now that I have to pay out of pocket. I should note that I did originally go to a surgical supply store and was measured to find the correct size. If you are willing to spend the money they do help with vein issues.

I've been using this sock but with the silicon dots on the top. LOVE those because they are super comfortable, but this version, without the dots, doesn't stay up. I plan to try the roll-on sticky stuff next time I wear them, but in general I wouldn't recommend these if they don't stay up on their own.
