Really wanted to love this
Having bought many Worx tools in the past and always been impressed I really wanted to love this, it’s OK, I just about like it!The exact track system is a great idea, It eliminates the need for the head scratching and missed lines most of us have experienced with a standard circular saw. It also negates the need for an expensive rail/plunge saw and rail which I think I would have preferred to buy, but sadly Worx do not have one in their range. The saw is light and if you already have plenty of batteries you’ll be fine. It’s ideal for any sheet material and very easy to use. All that said, sadly I have to agree with several other reviewers; the exact track and blade guard are made from plastic of insufficient quality to give you the confidence it won’t be broken in a fortnight. The dust extraction does not fit securely, and can fall off mid cut, again I suspect this will not last long, and finally as others have mentioned , the saw is underpowered - it struggled and stalled several times taking a few mill off the bottom of a 40mm door, although it did eventually get the job done. In summary I would say for light use and thin sheet material this is a handy little tool, if your rip cutting anything with any depth it will eventually get through, but probably isn’t designed for that.

Fantastic for diy use.
This exactrack circular saw is excellent if not a little bit toyish. It's very light and being mainly made of plastic seems flimsy but is surprisingly well made. It's the genius way part of the sole plate moves up when you rest it on the guide your cutting along that makes it a joy to use. No more measuring the guide distance from the blade and adding the thickness of the blade. You just draw your line put the straight edge or guide on the line and the saw does the rest.

Excellent
What a great little tool. The ‘exactrack’ works really well, cutting exactly on the line so long as you watch the blade running along your straight edge, not the shoe. There’s a lot of misunderstanding about batteries in some of these reviews … You do NOT need a massive big, expensive battery to cut through regular 18mm ply or mdf. A big battery will last longer, before having to recharge, but it won’t deliver more torque, more current or more power. If anything a small battery will deliver more current because it has a lower internal resistance. I use the tiny 1.5 Ah batteries that came with my drill and it has no problem getting through 18mm ply.

Nice entry level saw for DIYers - Lightweight and easy to use
I got this saw because I have quite a few Worx cordless tools using the power share system which means I have a few batteries to go around. What I really like about it is that it's a light saw to use so you don't have to have arms like a bodybuilder to use it effectively. Easy adjustments and the Exactrack feature is easily engaged by simply moving a lever.Although I'm a carpenter by trade, I haven't worked professionally for a number of years but I still have a fascination for tools of all kinds and I'd definitely recommend this to DIYers looking for a basic circular saw. I've found all my Worx tools have performed well so far and I've had my cordless drill/driver for a number of years with no problemsThis saw is highly portable and manageable!

Under rated tool
All round brilliant, this is not said because it’s a cordless. It’s powerful, lightweight, comfortable and over looked by tool thief’s. It’s turning out to be real handy, like the fact the Allen key is fitted to body for blade change. Have cut bricks, this thing is awesome. I use 4 amp battery, so no issue there.. I swop battery between bits of kit and seems to last all day. Top marks from me.
