This is a great pen for the price. Waterman is a wonderful pen maker and the Carene is one of their top lines. The amber shimmer is beautiful and luxurious. The pen is sizeable, and heavy like a fine quality pen should be. It was shipped from France and was at my door within a week. Great pen, great value, awesome seller. Thanks to my new French friends!

A disappointment
This is my second Waterman Ballpoint Pen. It is beautiful, well balanced and writes nicely. However, the mechanism for extracting the ballpoint out seems cheap. You can hear and feel the spring twisting inside the pen. It often retracts itself. I did not have this issue with my previous Waterman Ballpoint Pen. The box was sealed but there was no warranty or instruction manual included. I also own a Waterman Carene Fountain Pen that I really enjoy. The contrast of quality between the two pens makes the ballpoint pen very disappointing.

Excellent Pen!
The Waterman Carène Ballpoint Pen is beautiful and fits comfortably in my hand. My wife loved the look of it, so I bought her the fountain version for her collection. Marine amber is really a beautiful finish. I am highly satisfied with this pen.

Magnifique stylo-bille made in France, épais, qu'on a bien en mains, la cartouche Waterman d'origine est parfaite, avec un excellent confort d'écriture. C'est un stylo-bille de très grande qualité, classe, parfaitement fini. J'adore écrire avec, et ça fait tellement plaisir de voir les beaux objets que l'on peut toujours fabriquer en europe.
