I had been look for coffee alternatives, because it does not work well for my body. When I did a pour over and drank it, it tasted like coffee, just with a slightly less bitter and more of a sweeter and nuttier taste, but has more benefits for my body than coffee does. I mix it sometimes with cocoa powder and it makes it taste more like coffee. If you are looking for an alternative and you don't mind the slight taste difference then this would be right for you.

Due to acid reflux issues, I had to stop drinking coffee which was very hard for me as it had become a morning ritual for over 30 years. Then, I discovered this product! While its not coffee, its an excellent substitute and has allowed me to continue my morning ritual of drinking a hot cup while reading a book, every morning!

I like the flavor, but when using it in my preferred espresso machine, a Krups pressure pump model, it clogs up stopping pump. It is likely due to it's fine grind as it appears in basket. Thus, my pump pressure machine cannot be used. I have used with success in drip type coffee maker, but prefer a pump machine for a foamy (crema) outcome. The dried figs formed a "brick" that blocked water being pumped through machine.In summary, I am disappointed... but like the flavor it provided otherwise. (I mix it half and half with a reglar espresso grind).

I don't drink coffee much anymore and have found figee to be a great substitute. I prepare it like I would drip coffee and use oatmilk. Very satisfying!

I received the FigBrew Figgee Roasted Fig Beverage - Refill.This stuff is good! Real Good!I had been searching for a good tasting coffee alternative so when I saw this I really wanted to try it. I ordered the refill as that was all that was available.This FigBrew really does not taste like a good cup of real coffee.That being said, it totally reminds me of the starbucks frappuccino's in the little glass bottles, when I put a bit of half and half in a mug full.It took me months to wean myself off of those darn Frapps, after their price went up so high this past year. HAPPILY, this is FigBrew is a totally a satisfactory replacement for those frapps! FigBrew is very yummy indeed and a whole lot healthier that the frapps!Now, about the price??? Yikes, this stuff is expensive. I'm not so sure about using half as much grounds as you would with coffee. Right now, I am just experimenting, as I always liked my coffee brewed strong. I did about 2/3'ds less today and that seemed pretty good.I really do like this FigBrew very much, I am just not so sure about the price.Also, This refill bag was shipped in an Amazon bubble bag and it got pretty abused along it's shipping route. The FigBrew bag split open, so there were a lot of loose grounds inside the Amazon bag which was quite a bit of waste! If I were to order this again, I would request better packaging!

The package came with a slight hole in it and the fig brew coffee came very clumpy. I had to use a pastry tool to get it to unclamp so that I could use it. I certainly would like a replacement if possible (although they say non refundable item) but please be more cautious when packing this item as the fig brew is quite delightful. I will spend the extra $1 to get the tin next time

What I like about this product is the taste. It is smooth and satisfying with a nice hint of fig. As for the con, the price is a little steep for the amount you.

This was a gift to a family member who presently cannot tolerate regular tea.
