A must read for pilots.
As an aspiring commercial pilot and specifically flying the backcountry of Idaho in my Cessna 180, I found this book to have such valuable insight. I have so much to learn in the world of backcountry flying but I do believe reading books by Dick Williams has helped me become a better pilot.

Great Storyteller
Dick Williams in addition to being a superb backcountry pilot and flight instructor is a master storyteller. All of his books are worth a read and this latest is no exception. There is a ton of wisdom and great information here for all aviators.

How lucky are we to have such an amazing aviator share his stories. This book will stand the test of time. And they must wear your personal aviation library.

Great info from a true stick and rudder pilot
This book is full of useful information on true stick n rudder flying with enjoyable stories and humble storytelling from a master cub pilot. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning real tailwheel skills, not just weekend warrior type flying.

Any of Dick Williams' books are worth reading. He has a knowledge-base that is worth absorbing, and a humorous, refreshing, and wise life perspective. Any backcountry pilot will appreciate this archive of safety information, and the personal, approachable way he shares his wisdom. Enjoy!

Enjoyed reading some of the past wisdom from Dick and really cool section on rebuilding a supercub.
