Glad I tried these
Now had my 2nd cycle using menstural cups after hearing encouraging things about them from the girls at work, no more sitting in pads of mess especially when you're heavy!(I do still wear a day liner just incase as you can get tiny bit of discharge from when first inserting it).Get yourself a period pan from the kitchen, see pics (now not for pasta!) boil your cups in there for 5 mins before first use and after cycle has finished, pour a kettle of water over them daily.Inserting/use - get a bottle of water you can take out and about with you for rinsing it out you will need this for on the go and do this over a loo not the sinks. When inserting I have started sitting on edge of bath / standing in shower if I can as when trying this on toilet dropped it, can be springy when folding it to insert and flies out if your hand. You don't wanna be chancing washing it and killing all toilet bugs! Had to buy a new pack.Inserting it can be tricky but got the hang of folding it, can be tricky to use at very start /end of cycle but the heaviness and natural lubrication helps. This pack is good value as you get 4 cups, the large are good for heavier days, and I still use a pad at beginning and end of cycle when very light.

Impressed
These are great. As a first time user I was a bit scared of trying these but I am so happy I did. I used the larger one to begin but I was a little uncomfortable so swapped to the smaller one and I can't even feel I have anything in. I watched YouTube videos on how to insert them correctly and also how to remove them and so far so good. I also bought washable pads to use with these just incase of any leaks but not had any leaks at all so far. I am pleased I decided to try these as they will save me a fortune in the future and they are a lot more comfortable than tampons which can leave you feeling quite dry.

You need to be mindful of size and you need practise
I had no idea idea what size I needed so went for a variety pack. After trial and error I could work it out. I also found it tricky to use at first - when it's inserted correctly it's great but getting the technique takes a bit of practise - a bit like inserting and removing contact lenses. It is unlikely to be great the first few times but now I use this as my first choice.

Easy to use good value
I purchased these to make up packs to send to Ukraine as sanitary products are rarely donated. I kept one cup for myself as I needed a new one. They are easy to use (once you get the hang of it) and they help reduce the length of my period and they help to stop cramps etc. I recommend these to all my friends and this pack if of exceptional value

Issues with the cup/ quite dangerous actually
Not advised with someone who has had multiple births as it's harder to remove when inserted the string isn't long enought to be pulled out so not recommended for someone who's a hight up cervix

Wish I’d tried years ago
Easy to use, effective and would recommend to anyone who is considering other options than conventional period products.Used alongside washable pads in case of any leakage but didn’t actually need to
