Thermal Waffle Weave Baby Blanket with Satin Nylon Trim (Blue)

Ok, so I don't review often but I had to review this blanket. I'm the crazy 31 year old that still sleeps with my baby blanket. My 2 sisters and I all had baby Morgan blankets, and well, let's just say somehow I managed to acquire them through the years when the one I was using was ragged and on its last leg. Well fast forward 30 years, I've gone through 3 baby morgans, now what do I do? Plus we have a baby on the way and I wanted to give one to her like I had. I look at eBay, see the prices and highly consider a vintage. But this one on Amazon caught my eye. For the price, I thought why not try it. I have to say, while it is not as soft as the baby morgans, I LOVE IT!! My daughter also loves it and it's nice and lightweight for our walks which is nice. In my view, don't hesitate to buy. I give these as gifts now. Hope this review helps if you're considering!

Me and my sons favorite blanket! Ive had this since i was a baby and my son ended up taking it over well after 20 years of me having it only took my son 1 year of teething on it to break the silk off. I was so sad i searched and searched and thank the lord amazon had it! Id pay 100$ for this blanket of i had to lol. My mom said she got my old one at my baby shower over 20 years ago! So this brand will last!

I have the pink and blue Unibabe brand ones that look very similar to this. A few washes and they are soft and snuggly. Which led me to buy the green one for my 3rd child- and this was the only green I could find. It was pretty rough coming out of the package but figured after a few washes it would be soft …. A year later and it’s still very rough/scratchy and stiff. I washed it normally as I did the others…. recently got frustrated and purposely put it through the washer multiple times in a row just by itself in hopes it would “break” in and lose the roughness…. I’m sad to say that it’s still rough. I will be looking for another green one in a different brand!

I have had a childhood blanket and kept it with me for pretty close to all 34 years I've had it with the exception of a couple years when I let myself think I shouldn't be allowed a blankie anymore. Anyways now that I've rambled this is absolutely exactly like my childhood one. Exact same color as it's originally was not the exact same feeling but about as close as your gonna get considering the original has 34 years of wear. So if you have a similar one as mine pictured and have a need for that texture to rub or feel this is definitely the right choice and youl be very happy with it. Glad I can finally retire the original and put it in a safe place to hold all the memories that came with it and can stopped being worn down to nothing.

Looks just like the ones back in the 90s

This blanket swiftly became my son's favorite blanket. It is thinner, as the seller has stated, but still super warm. It is a little stiff, as the seller stated, but has gotten softer with each washing, as the seller stated.My son is constantly touching and rubbing this blanket and after I wash it, he pulls it right to his face and smiles, for both the warmth and the blanket. I cannot recommend this product enough and I will be buying more in the future. :D

I bought this for myself because it's the same I had as a baby, and it arrived quickly but the big problem is that there are loose threads all along the silk border and honestly it was disappointing considering the price range for such a small blanket. The sating edge itself it's kind of stiff but I'm assuming it'll soften over tine, but the waffle knit fabric is nice.
