My 7 year old grandson thought this story was GREAT!

Students love reading this book. It has been a favorite for the 3rd grade book club three different years. I keep cycling back to it. One of my favorites in the Franny K. Stein series. Love it. Giggle all the way through it each time I read it with the group.

good book

My 7 year old read this in once sitting. Great buy for a young reader working on beginning chapter books.

This book is genius. My 5 year-old son was completely spellbound (NOT for girls only!). While obviously targeted to young readers,the delightful pictures, combined with the limited text per page within the short chapters, make this an engaging read-aloud.P.s. LOVE seeing such a positive example of a "girl" scientist in children's fiction!

my 3rd grader loves this story

My son really enjoys Franny K Stein. He is into science and she appeals to both girls and boys. The length and diffuculty are perfect for bedtime reading. My son just finished second grade, but I would think that Franny would appeal to many ages. I read her to my preschool daughter. She will be attending kindergarten next year and the pictures keep her involved in the story. You can hear my son laughing from his room when he is reading one of her books.

Book fast and great - for my son

Frannyシリーズ第2段。今回はFrannyにアシスタントができます。---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------★あらすじ★Frannyの母親は実験のアシスタントとしてIgorを連れてきます。しかしFrannyはIgorをアシスタントとして認めません。IgorはFrannyの手伝いをしたいのに何も触らないように命じます。一方学校ではMiss Shellyからバレンタインデーのことを教えてもらったFranny。カードやキューピッドの絵のことを聞きますがなかなか理解ができず悩んでいました。その夜、家ではIgorが唯一触ることを許されたゴムボールで遊んでいましたが、ボールが実験器具に当たってしまい、Miss Shellyからもらったバレンタインカードのキューピッドが具現化されさらに巨大化してしまいます。Frannyはキューピッドを止める為に立ち向かいますが・・---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------今回も大活躍のFrannyがかっこよかったです。そしてIgorがいい味出していました。Frannyに何もするなと指示されておとなしくボールで遊んでいるシーンは哀愁を感じます。具現化したキューピッドの矢から逃げながらも実験器具を触らないように気をつかうIgorが健気です。最初はIgorに冷たいFrannyでしたがラストは器の大きさを感じます。良いコンビ誕生ですね。第3段も楽しみです。
