Does this allow for good extraction on floors?

I assume this is the bare floor attachment. Yes, it cleans well. I’ve used it only on tile floors. Attaching the piece is not intuitive, and mine came with no instructions. To attach the piece: 1. Position the black piece to the front of cleaner with screws to the back 2. Ensure brushes face down 3. Position brushes in place and lift and roll up to snap in place.

How do I replace this with the regular roller? They are not the same size.
