I own several Wansview security cameras for my house so I was glad to give their webcam a shot. It does appear we're going to be using these for the foreseeable future. First of all it was smaller than I expected when I saw the box, but that's ok, it clamped to the top of my monitor and stayed put just fine. Picture quality is good, auto-focus works great, and it actually was plug-and-play...I didn't have to do anything other than connect it to my computer. Windows installed it and it's worked with Zoom and other video applications without any problem. The privacy cover is packaged separately in the box and consists of two pieces, the cover, and the base it slides in. That sticks to the camera with peel off tape, and it was a little frustrating for my fat fingers but I finally managed it. I assume that makes it optional as to whether you want or need a privacy cover, but very nice to have. Overall, good product, I highly recommend!

At some level, I suppose you get what you pay for.I have a much nicer and much more expensive Logitech webcam that I use everyday for work. But, I didn’t want to take it on the road, so I wanted something cheaper that was still HD and had autofocus, but was inexpensive enough I wouldn’t feel all that bad if it got scratched up or something and I had to replace it.. This one did the trick.Co workers said I looked fine in our WebEx calls. When I was testing it by myself, I noticed a bit of a moray effect in my face and for some reason the frame rate seemed a bit slower to me than what I’m used to, but no one on the other end noticed any such issues, so I decided I was happy enough with it.So now when I hop on a plane to take a working vacation somewhere, this webcam comes along and is a little workhorse.I don’t have much to say about the microphone because I have a bluetooth headset with a little boom mic that I use for clear audio.

I bought this webcam for my girlfriend, it’s a plug and play, meaning no software needed to use. It has a 3 second autofocus this gives you an amazing picture, if you move away from the cam then move forward, you’ll see how quickly it recovers and refocus; it also has a noise cancelling mic that canceled out the guys cutting the lawn when we tested it. Whether it’s mounted on a laptop or placed on a desk, the device sits securely on either surface. The cam is so clear and the colours are sharp. She plan to use the cam for streaming, so I might do an update once that is completed.I liked that it came with a privacy cover, that block the cam when not in use., no more tapeI was really impressed with this Wansview webcam, especially for the price.

I got this webcam to use for occasional Zoom meetings. The plug and play works like a charm, and I appreciate the universal mount—it attaches well to my old/bulkier monitor. The reason for 3 stars is that, although autofocus works, the colors and brightness of the video are really off. Maybe I have a defective webcam, but even without my desk light on, in the dim evening, I look ghastly pale in the Zoom videos. Sometimes, the video is so bright that the features of my face can't be seen! The colors are also more muted than those captured by other webcams I've tried and I'm not sure the resolution is really 4K.

Kid needed this for school, and it plugged in, and worked pretty quickly. The picture quality was really good, and it was easy to use. It fell a couple of times, from the desk, and it survived, so it's a good value too, since I didn't have to replace another web cam

I paid $30 to buy this camera for a good quality. Infact, its quality for one month was good (might have used for few times in one month) when I bought, then gradually its picture quality degrades, eventually results in distorted images, even not recognized by the computer. I connected it to nearly 5 computers to make sure that issue is with camera, not with my computer. Overall, wastage of money and time. never buy again any Wansview camera.

I have several webcams, but this autofocus version by Wansview is the best by far. It is feature packed but affordable, and delivers clearer and sharper images regardless of whether the view is close or far than fixed focus webcams - very similar to cell phone cameras that automatically focus on faces. Audio is great as well. The mount is very adjustable to fit a laptop screen or flatscreen monitor. A single USB cord is used for both audio and video. I don't know whether my package had the video cover included with it. However, I am very pleased with this item.

The picture quality and auto-focus on this camera surprised me for the price point. It has just about the same picture quality that my Logitech 922 webcam has which cost just over $90. The mic didn't seem to have any issues picking up my voice with me sitting about 18 inches away from it at my desk. The webcam comes with what I would describe as a simple laptop camera lens cover. It basically has some adhesive tape on the back of it that allows you to stick it to the front of the camera so that you can slide a small plastic cover back and forth to cover/uncover the camera lens. It seems a little on the cheap side, but it works and does the job. I would have preferred something that clipped to the camera that would flip up and down to work as a cover, but not a deal breaker by any means.

Bought this as an upgrade to an earlier version of a Wansview webcam. There was nothing wrong with the old one...I loved it. My wife ended up taking it as she didn't like the picture quality from the cam on her laptop.The new item arrived nicely packaged with all the bits needed. Getting it up and running couldn't have been simpler...truly plug and play. It was immediately available in both Zoom and Teams and as much as I was blown away by the other one, this one is even better.The picture is crystal clear and the audio is crisp and clean. The older version didn't have a privacy flap, which the new one does...and it comes in handy. I also like the new gimbal they have incorporated to hold the camera as it makes it so easy to attach it to your display and adjust the camera angle to your hearts content.People have been making comments on our meetings about how clear my video sessions are and I have steered a few people towards this camera. This is definitely a great camera!

I use this webcam for streaming and it’s perfect. Picture is good. A steady 40 FPS depending on what app you use. The mount design can fit on various monitor screen thicknesses easily or you can put it on a flat surface. It’s the easiest web cam I’ve ever had. No looking for drivers. Just plug and play auto install drivers. Which is super nice. My grandmother could operate this thing. I will buy again.

I've found this camera has a great clear picture for zooming or skyping with a good onboard mic. Both my Mac and Windows computer required no special software instillation and ran the cameras with no problem as soon as it was plugged in. I thought the little slip cover for the lens was a bit of a gimmick but to be honest the convenience has been really nice. With my past cameras I would often put a sticker over the lens or take if off my computer when not in use but with the little privacy slip cover it's nice to be read to go right away with video calls. This camera has a great sharp picture, works with great ease and is definitely worth it given the amazon price.The camera also has a tripod mount on the bottom

The media could not be loaded.  I have purchased this webcam and I am very pleased with it. It is very easy to install with no drivers necessary just plug it in with the USB 2.0 plug into your computer. It has a 1080P high-definition video with a very clear image. The autofocus works great and it has a Built-in Microphone. It has a lens cover that can be attached if required for privacy and is mounted on a clip that you can mount on your desktop or clip to your monitor. I would recommend this Webcam to anyone that is looking for quality and great performance.

Thought the camera was just okay but aside from the optical zoom is barely competitive with my cell phone camera.
