This is the 4th brix meter we get in a time frame of 7yrs and it’s a reliable brand. Easy to use and to calibrate.

Used product / sold as new - prompt replacement
Shame! Product was used, not cleaned and hat a smudgy probe prism and finger prints all over. No outer packaging. Was definitely used before. For this price and advertised as new this is a shame!UPDATE: seller promptly took care and replaced the item. Thanks for managing the replacement

One of the best portable refractometers on the market. Calibration to water is simple. Testing fluid is also a breeze. Display is extremely easy to view. I've used the PAL-1 for years, and won't use anything else.
