Fits extended battery; got *Revision 3* with volume cutouts; I'm satisfied!
Just wanted share that I am very pleased with this case! I avoided getting a case for my Galaxy Nexus for quite a while because, well, I hate cell phone cases. But after a few weeks of use I decided that the GN is just too thin and slippery to not have some sort of protection. This case fits great and looks good too.And even though this product page still says Revision 2, I actually got the Revision 3 case with the volume cutouts. (Placed my order on January 4, 2012 -- see the picture I uploaded.)The case does add just a bit of bulk to the phone, but really that's what I wanted. I can get a much better grip on it now, especially when holding the phone with one hand. And the port cutouts make for handy finger rests, like the laces on a football. My only tiny disappointment is that the case is very smooth. Perhaps that is what most people want. I, on the other hand, was hoping to have a little more texture and stickiness.Oh, and be sure to take their advice about getting into a dust free environment when putting on the screen protector. I ignored it thinking I knew best, and I ruined the installation. But that is completely my fault. The protector looked great. I actually wish they sold the screen protector separately here on Amazon.

Acceptable for the GSM Galaxy Nexus
I've tried many cases already, among them: the Incipio SA-241 Samsung Galaxy Nexus NGP Semi-Rigid Soft Shell Case - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Black, the Incipio SA-204 Samsung Galaxy Nexus SILICRYLIC Hard Shell Case with Silicone Core - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Black/Black, and the SGP Samsung Galaxy Nexus Case Ultra Hybrid Series [Eclipse White]. But this case is the best out of them all. Aside from the Incipio-brand cases are designed for the Verizon/CDMA version of the GN. This causes the fit to be loose on the phone, as the Verizon GN is slightly thicker than the GSM version. There were always gaps between the phone and case. The SGP Ultra Hybrid series would rank slightly below the Diztronic case due to the fact that the lip around the screen is too small, resulting in possible damage to the phone when dropped on its face, and the buttons become oversensitive to pressure. The Diztronic case strikes a perfect balance between protection and form-factor, having an adequate lip around the screen and having cutouts around all the buttons and ports. The only minor complaint I have would be that it's slightly loose at the lip of the case. This is because the case is made to accommodate both the Verizon (thicker) version and GSM (thinner) version of the GN. I would recommend this case to anyone who has just purchased an unlocked Galaxy Nexus from the Google Play Store.TL;DR- Fits GSM Galaxy Nexus with stock battery well, albeit with a little bit of play at the edges around the screen- All access areas have cutouts, including the 3-pin charging area, while still being a thin case- 2-3mm thick lip around the screen for drop protection- Doesn't attract dust, easy to remove from pocketNote: Perhaps reflecting on the average build quality of the case, there's a noticeable seam on the left side where the glossy front meets the matte back. For a company that strives for quality with all these revisions, you'd think they'd have found a way to eliminate the seam from the injection-molding process.

Pretty good with one really annoying flaw
I bought this as a "minimal" case for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus SCH-i515. My expectations were simple: lightweight but durable, feature/button access and coverage for all but the screen. On this last expectation, I wanted something that covered the rim of the case where the screen meets the case for some edge protection, but nothing more.All-in-all, this case meets my expectations. The one flaw that stands out is the same one that others have complained about. For some reason, the design team decided to leave the volume rocker-button covered by the TPU material rather than a cut-out as the other buttons have. This presents two problems: 1) decreased sensitivity to the volume rocker and 2) as others have mentioned, I constantly find my phone in a low volume mode. I hoped it would be a tolerable flaw, but it's not. No matter what, the volume is constantly being adjusted.Pros:- Quality material- Good, snug fit with buttons/features well exposed- Price point- Soft case (vs hard)Cons:- Volume rocker-button is covered and interferes with volume constantly lowering the volume on the phone w/o user input.- The feel of the case is not as matte as I would like allowing the phone to be a little bit more slick than I would prefer but this is a very mild annoyance and I can totally deal with it. Some may not like that matte/rubberized finish so this is completely subjective.Bottomline: This is a good case minus the very big flaw in the volume-rocker. I personally cut mine out like others did. I took my time using razor blades and a butane torch (for a sleeker finish) and spent about 15 mins on the project. I would much rather have not had to do so, and the phone is functional without the adjustment, but I wasn't willing to deal with the flaw (so I fixed it!). If you don't think you can fix it or want to bother with it, this is not the case for you. If you don't think the volume situation will bother you or don't mind cutting out the slot and prefer this case over others, then you're money will not be wasted. If the above listed flaw were not present, this would be a five-star item. Given the impact and required user intervention, I only believe I can give this product three-stars.
