Wald Imports 0497 Picnic Basket, Brown

The basket is assembled with what appears to be notebook paper brads. The lid doesn't fit the base of the basket properly and it won't hold the weight of napkins, let alone a "picnic". I bought this as part of a wedding gift and I would be embarrassed to present it to the newlyweds. It's junk.

It's going to be my wife's sewing basket. She wanted a bare bones, briefcase style basket that wasn't already set up as a picnic basket.She's making her own liner that will meet her needs and she loves it.The price is perfect for what she needed.

I just moved into a house with a kitchen with less cabinet space. I bought this basket to put above my cabinets to store extra kitchen items in. I get compliments all the time on how great the basket looks up there!! Great quality too!! I would definitely recommend this!

Well...I would love to rate this basket that I ordered however I received a completely different basket. I needed the basket for a gift so I didn't have time to return it. This is the first time this has happened to any of my orders.

The basket is beautiful. The clasp that fasten the straps to the basket go through to the inside of the basket and have exposed sharp edges. Will have to take some time to make sure all edges are bent in or perhaps, I will make a fabric liner for it. The straps are too short to hold more than 2-3 inches in diameter. I don't think it will hold even a small blanket. But overall, a beautiful basket.
