Fast and furious
That’s how the book goes, as it might view swiftly through the centuries highlighting some main “heights” and “depths” of Church History. It serves well as a 101 Church History reading.

Excellent read but very small
This book has valuable church history information but is very small so may be best to read it for free on Hoopla or somewhere.

Consider and well written
Presents the history of the church in a very readable manner. Learned things I never knew before. A well rounded presentation of the progress of Christianity throughout the world and time.

Not deep, but very wide.
Definitly a "digest", as one should expect of a book of this size with the scope of 2000 years of history! Good starting point "overview" or framework prior to deeper study in any area of church history.

History at a glance.
This is a rather quick read but has lots of information.

it's a pocket size book
This is more like a pamphlet on Church History. I can put the book in back pocket. This is not what I was expecting. The print is also large and it only has 99 pages, which make the small nature of the book even more ridiculous. The book has decent content, but definitely not good for studying church history. I was looking for something in between the 1000 page books with tiny print on Church history and this pamphlet.

A simple overview of church history.
We used this book as a guideline for a small group and then branched out independently. Pretty easy to read and talk about. Good to initiate curiosity and handle with a busy schedule.

Nice little booklet that gives you just what is was intended to do-- a very brief little history book. Does the one who gave it two stars really expect an in depth academic work?

Quick and easy yet accurate and helpful?!
Was very useful as a fast review through several centuries of church history. Well-known and credible authors. We enjoyed this book ASA read-aloud shared together.

Short, sharp and to the point!
A excellent summary of a huge section of Church history which is an extremely accessible read for all! I thoroughly enjoyed it and am sure that you will too.
