Fantech Flex 100H Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) CFM, 0.4 W.C., 50-106

We installed two at our veterinary hospital due to covid. They constantly bring in fresh, warmed air and keep our staff. We have them ventilating in/out of two windows and in/out of our dropped ceiling. They’re exactly what we needed!

Compact and nice fit easily in my existing heating cabinet. Will buy from this buyer again.

Screws that hold the lid clips on pulled out of the casing the first time I opened the lid to clean the core. I was able to drill out the holes and replace with larger screws so not a huge deal but still annoying. Other than that it has been great. I purchased this HRV this because we had really bad condensation problems on our windows. Within an hour of getting this installed and turned on all the condensation was gone and it's never been back! I'm also a big fan of the fresh air smell we get inside our house now. I like that this unit has an aluminum core. I suspect it will last longer and be more effecient than the plastic cores I have seen on many other units.

I have had this unit installed in one my rentals as a standalone unit for a legal basement suite. It has been running 24/7 for the past year and no issues. I wall mounted it on a piece of 1/2" plywood and the vibration can only be heard if your are in the maintenance closet on reduced/low mode. Would buy it again!

I live in a mini home and the original air exchanger was just a box with a mesh cloth in it and buddy it was sure cold in my closets where the fresh air came in and still had some moisture on my windows , this heat recovery air exchanger is a game changer , i woke up this morning to a warm home and the temp stayed steady with my heat pump mini split , before i had to turn the heat up in the mornings ....Great system this Fantech HRV

Merci l'échangeur fonctionne #1 pour le moment. Je peux dire que cette machine marche super. L'échange d'air se fait bien, aucun air froid qui entre chez nous. C'est un air frais et ne refroidit pas la maison. La machine est asses silencieuse. J'ai acheté une commande écotouch avec, tout est en mode automatique, je ne m'occupe plus de rien et l'air est super dans la maison.

Works well, very noisy at start up (unit installed on a hollow wall as apposed to a cement or block wall). Called the company, they sent a representative who replaced the fan brackets. Where this helped, it is still a little noisy. Would highly recommend if installing on a basement wall.
