These are so sharp that it almost does not make the typical clicking sound regular nail clippers make. It is a bit on the larger size so it may be hard for those with smaller hands.

I've had these for about a month and like them a lot so far. They are very sharp and seem to be made well. My only issue is that they're bigger than I expected. I'd purchased then as fingernail clippers, but they're the size of what I call toenail clippers. This isn't a huge issue, but it does mean that I end up having to cut each nail by cutting off smaller pieces to round it out properly.

It's bigger, sturdier & sharper.Bigger = harder to lose, easier to hold & better leverage, makes the job easier.Sturdier = this tool will last forever.Sharper = cuts easier, closer & doesn't pull.

I've used a lot of nail clippers and have always loved the ones made in Japan. I tried these and fell in love with them. They are very sharp, weighted well and cut very cleanly. I use them only for my fingernails. I recommend them over many of the cheaper brands.

The blades are not completely aligned, the top blade is slightly shorter. The clipper is still is very sharp and I like the larger size to hold and can be used for toenails.
