does the job - good quality
I first tried to build keystones by holding them in my palm, it creates quite a balancing act holding them as you coordinate the wires into the correct slot while using the punch down tool. Not too mention the possibility of punching down on your palm and cutting yourself. This tool helped a great deal by holding the keystones in their place, protecting my palm and increasing my productivity tremendously. It comes with three compartments (A,B,C) which confused me at first, since there was no instruction manual that came with the product. Apparently in US markets only the B compartment is used as its the standard for US keystone size. Otherwise, the tool is good quality, and I would recommend it if you have to punch down more then one keystone.

Specialize Tool (Stand) to Hold Keystone Jacks for Punch Down
Reviews seem for a variety of products sold by Amamax. This review is for the Keystone Punch Down Stand. I've used the Stand for about 15 Cat 6 keystones (Monoprice.com type) - since keystones (whether Cat 5e, Cat 6, F-type) are standard & interchangeable size, it shouldn't matter which is the manufacturer. For Cat 6, use the middle pattern hole -- insert keystone with front towards the top clip that holds it in place (the clip holding down the keystone) - - insert cable through the tunnel from the keystone rear & punch down each 8 wires - - when finished, remove keystone from the pattern hole by inserting a finger through a hole from the bottom to push the keystone out of the top holding clip. It's all plastic so don't force anything, but when done properly, the keystone should be seated well, the clip keeping it within the pattern hole, and removal fairly easy by inserting finger from the bottom.Having done 5 keystones without the stand, and then 15 with the stand, it's worth the $6 for what is a very specialized tool.Other specialized tools for home structure wiring include: a RJ-45 circuit tester, F-type cable continuity tester/tone; Jonard F-type cable connector insertion tool, and a 1-step F-type cable stripper (vs. a 2-cut stripper).

Great Inexpensive Tool
For years I have been trying to hold the jack, the wire, and the punch down tool - good if you have three hands but most people don't.I found this little gem to be the best little helper for this type of work. It hold things in one spot so the punch down activity can happen effortlessly. Only thing I had to modify was, the stand was a bit light so I attached it to a pocket sized block of wood so now it does not slide around when I am using it. The order arrived a week ahead of schedule and was packaged to ensure no damage in shippment.I have purchased 2 more of these for other technicians and I expect to be buying more soon.

Adequate.
Did not quite fit Ortronics keystone jacks well enough to hold the jack in tight, but I cut a little notch in it and now it holds the jack in a bit. Still, one of the slots hold the Ortronics jack in enough to be helpful to most users.

Great tool
I used to use the tooless (tool less?) keystone jacks, but unfortunately, none of the face plates where I work right now will accept them. So it's either replace every face plate or buy the jacks that fit, which don't come in tooless. I've done many jobs without this innocuous little thing, but I'll never do another one without it. The jacks fit snugly in place and don't move. You can see the side of the jack and the color codes. Its small size is easy to carry around, and if your eyes are as old as mine, easy to manipulate and check your wire positions before punching them down. Would definitely recommend.

Causes injury to fingers and hands
I did 15 keystones. I tried all of the different slots to put the keystone. The block is made of sturdy material, it's just designed terribly. Whenever I did a punch down, the block either flew up or away in reaction to the punch. Since I'm new to this, I thought maybe it's my punch down technique so I kept trying. I tried low-impact punch, the wire would not punch into the keystone and the keystone would fall out of the block. I tried high-impact punch it made a good punch but the block with the jack would punch back onto my fingers or hands and bruise them. There has got to be a way to hold this block in place so it doesn't go flying... I just don't understand. I ended up just not using a block to do the punch downs.

I got this and it's great. Makes the job much easier for me and ...
This review is for the iMBAPrice® Universal Cat6/Cat5e/RJ11/12 Keystone Jack Punch Down Stand. I am missing a some fingers on my hand, so holding jacks while punching in the wires and finishing terminations is hard for me to hold all the parts together as I do it. I got this and it's great. Makes the job much easier for me and will speed up the process for anyone else. Very sturdy construction, good quality. It does not flex under pressure like some cheap stuff might. It does exactly what it should. It's a big help.

Easy to use and inexpensive to pickup
Tool is great when you don’t have a good surface to punch down on. Had a punch down a short cat5 cable on fresh sheetrock, the tool lets you hold the connector and cable so that you don’t punch down into your figures. No instruction sheet but you’ll figure it out quick. Tool is inexpensive and nice to have, shipped fast and undamaged. I’d recommend it.
