TASER Professional Series Personal and Home Defense Kit TASER 7CQ

Before we begin, keep in mind, this is NOT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT VERSION meaning you don’t have two lasers, tilt feature, or the extended range option However considering the quality of the taser, the effectiveness, and the fact most taser deployments are from close quarters (even law enforcement) this is perfect It has a great deployment ( 12 feet range) and has drive stun features like the previous X2 It’s a great device for self defense and most importantly work. As a security professional, this is more effective then my X2 was Sure you may not have the 21ft range of a LE model, but this is designed for increase CQ penetration Very good for the price range. Sadly it didn’t come with a holster. Both safariland and Blackhawk make a great holster for it. Overall, it’s an easy to use and quick to deploy tool I recommend this taser for purchase PS. Its compostable with the rechargeable tactical battery directly from axon (one that comes by default with taser 7) it’s a great feature to look into

As a taser instructor I will tell you this has been my favorite taser so far. I have owned and been issued a great deal of devices and this one is the cream of the crop. It's small than the X2 but has the capability to shoot twice. Beefier handle and user friendly interface on the digital display. It has better prong tech and a better cartridge system than any other device. We ordered 9 of these right off of Amazon and it came quick. I would just be prepared to get a half charged battery though.

The taser is amazing but it doesn’t come with a charger and they don’t offer to sell one I bought a charge but it wasn’t compatible I hopefully they offer a solution. They also don’t offer replacement batteries for purchase which I don’t understand I’m willing to buy.

I purchased the taser 7 cq because I do armed security in Portland. I'm able to get a full grip on the taser. And I like the fact, I have a backup shot, incase I'm dealing with two people. Or miss my target. I like the laser and flashlight. So far every time I've had to deploy the tase it's worked every time stopping someone with a knife, or in a fight with someone else.

Does not come with a holster as stated in the description of its contents. So I took 1 star away. Comes with a easy quick start instructions though. Easy to put together. Longer grip than the Taser X2 making more comfortable to grip.

I get that the police are rechargeable and they don’t pay for it. But in security we pay for everything including pen and paper. So it would be nice if someone took our services under consideration and helped us afford the real thing or something that can help this ATM…🤣because every time you look at it you need to replace the battery. Good thing I have never taste anyone with this yet.

Haven't had to use it yet thankfully. Feels good to carry knowing it's a good back up, bright led light, dry stun is nice feature
