Sam's Scrapbook: My Motorsports Memories

Wonderful book with great pictures of a varied career in motorsport . I loved the fact that it's a father and son project.

This is a nice book and it's interesting to see how a driver holds onto memorabilia and his perception of his career. The book doesn't really go into much detail and would be better with more of his thoughts about his career. Also, it's poorly edited, there are some mistakes. Still, it's an interesting, but light book but enjoyable.

I worked for Sam as a crew member in 1981 when he drove the Datsun 280z for NTS racing. I was was just 21 years old and loved every minute. My best memory was the Lime Rock race, I was invited my Sam to join him in the winners circle, when he handed me the Champagne bottle to take a sip, that was a moment I still vividly remember as it was yesterday. Sam is one of a kind, he drove everything and did it well!

Loved reminiscing in the pages of this wonderful scrapbook of memories from Sam Posey.

I love Sam so it’s no surprise that I love the book too. It’s well researched and provides countless smiles.
