Charcoal Facial Soap DETOX,6 Ounce (Pack of 2)

This is my first review...ever on amazon. I just don't want to be....bothered :) I am not one to run around thinking it's so important to share my opinions with any and everyone. BUT I just had to leave a review after seeing that there are none for this product. I don't know who missed reviewing or is sleeping on this product but I must say you all are mad, MAD I tell you for ignoring this little God send. I saw a review off this product somewhere online and decided to get it from amazon instead of directly from the site already had my payment info there and couldn't be bothered with entering it on another site. As you can tell any extra effort online makes me queasy. Thus you must understand that even doing this is such...an effort for me that I would not do it if I did not love it. I've gone through surgery, I'm healing, I'm cranky, and I just don't want to do more than necessary. With that said this is why I'm so ecstatic. In the past three years I had a onslaught of adult acne and rosacea. My once perfect (and I mean so perfect makeup was not necessary and it was smooth soft and silky....not to mention I look a decade or more younger than my peers) became riddled with hyperpigmentation. I never had acne even as a teen so imagine my surprise. I've had cortisone shots only to have cysts re appear the next day, I've taken zin, B vitamins,, that zin fo acne product, murad' acne product, mandelic acid which is supposed to clear acne and did but left my skin dry and irritated my rosacea thus leading to, you guessed it, more acne after a cool down period. I took beta carotene which is supposed to convert to vitamin A without damage that large doses of A can give you; I've taken vitamin A which is supposed to be as good as accutane but without the side effects; I've taken financea which helped with some rosacea symptoms but not huge cysts; I've taken aczone (don't make me laugh), tanzorac (which made it worst, and was given a form of trentonoin to speed up skin exfoliation. I've of course tried Proactive (broke me out and reddened my sensitive skin), and Panoxyl (which worked for a bit but in the end dried my skin out, irritated it leading to more break outs). Are you exhausted by my typing because I am. At any rate I was also prescribed things like doryxl (did I type that right) and other things like accutane but didn't take them because they cause more harm than good in the long run. I tried changing my diet, taking aloe, etc but to no avail.Fast forward two years later almost three and I find this last week. No more pimples, cysts, nodules, rosacea like symptoms. Gone. This one cyst that survived two hydrocortisone shots....gone. I am left with a little hyper pigmentation but this also helps to slough off dead skin cells so I noticed even the dark spots are lightening. I will use this every day. I will sing its praises to everyone. If it comes from an imbalance, this will help you out at least that's what I've heard charcoal does and this soap definitely works. I must add this too that I haven't broken out. One other problem I have is sensitive skin so if one ingredient helps but another, I have an allergy to, it's breakout city all over again. This one is sent from Heaven. I hope it helps others like me. Give it a try. I only wish I found it before the hyperpigmentation. I'm still not stressed because I know once I get it under control it will diminish with time and perhaps a peel or two. My problem was that I had a vi peel and then broke out and more spots returned. That is a super waste of money and time. So now I'm confident with my next vi peel ad this soap I will have perfect skin once again. I will keep my fingers crossed.....

It truly is the best soap for your face!I tried so many soaps and gel cleansers, and they just don’t compare.. either too drying or not cleaning that well or cause irritation, smell too strong etc. I keep coming back to this soap. Just the best, please keep making it!

I bought two of these, one for me (27 years old) and one for my brother (18), who is in high school and concerned about blackheads and acne. He loves it and says his face feels amazing after using it and that he's noticed a reduction of his blackheads. I keep mine in the shower because it's pretty messy and gets all over the place if you keep it near the sink. I like it so far. The smell is pretty strong and can clear your sinuses out but it's a nice, minty-fresh smell. I have noticed a reduction in my blackheads and my pores seem smaller; however, I think regular use is starting to pull out a lot of impurities and that's giving me a small breakout. I'm pretty sure this will go away soon and I'll start to see the full effects of active charcoal.

Leaves my face feeling clean, moisturized, and the tea tree oil is great for calming my red cystic acne spots. Has a nice smooth texture to it, but was hoping it had more of a slightly gritty texture to help with exfoliation, but overall, this is a nice product.

I have never written a product review, but this soap has literally changed my life. I have suffered from adult, hormonal acne (both white heads and cystic) for over five years. I've done everything to try to relieve my symptoms.. every wash, every cleaning system, masks, scrubs, peels and even pills from a dermatologist.I found this soap and stuff literally came to the surface of my skin overnight. It took about three weeks for everything to clear out once it came to the surface, but now my skin is awesome! Washing daily has even prevented hormonal breakouts.I am a true skeptic... but this soap is legit.

I have struggled with adult acne for the last 3 years. I have combination skin which is either dry or oily depending on the day and have tried tons of products including Proactiv, and Murad products... None of which have helped much. I found this product online while researching more natural ways of curing acne and it has my skin looking better than it has in years!!! After only a few days of using this soap I noticed a difference but decided to wait a few weeks before reviewing to make sure that it wasn't just in my head. I use this daily as well as using a bentonite clay mask biweekly and my skin hasn't even broken out on my time of the month. My skin discolorations have even began to blur and lighten up!

Great Soap for face!!. I have been using this soap for about 2 months. I highly recommend it as a gentle facial cleanser that leaves your skin feeling light and fresh but not dry. Great product.
