Couple of these with a small container of crayons makes a great gift for Toys for Tots. Instead of one child, I could provide for dozens

try to remember these books are not yen soft version. They are the real version which can be too strong for younger audiences

Great price for the set

The pages have not been cut. The content is not appropriate for children. The little Mermaid had to kill Prince Eric to live or commit suicide. To make this worse, my daughter had to bring the gift/books to Staples to return. The books are nothing special and would not recomend these.

These books are based off the Brother’s Grimm fairy tales (I think) and some of them are way too dark for young kids. The Little Mermaid book had her trying to stab the prince to death and then turning into fairy dust. It was weird. The others involve death, murder, and kidnapping (among other things).Also, the quality of the books is bad. Some of them has the tops of the pages still connected to other pages because they weren’t cut correctly. I had to cut the pages apart myself I order to read the book. And they are thin with easily tearing pages.The illustrations are nice though, so two stars for that.
