Man this is a great buy. The first thing I tackled was spark plugs and ignition coils. Learned what and where my throttle body was and replaced its gasket while tackling the main job. And replaced other gaskets too (upper intake manifold collector) and inspected things along the way and I’m becoming comfortable improving little things I notice on the side. So happy I made the jump and bought this book and few wrenches.First job: $1900 plugs, coils, manifold gasket, throttle body gasket, air filter.Did myself for: $750Spent the rest on Trump NFTs. Highly recommend to anyone that works on their vehicle themselves. I always give my kids one for their car so they can better understand their cars.

A lot of information is left out of this manual

What you would expect better than online info only but for some systems on the vehicle a little brief.

Have always liked Haynes manuals but noticed in this particular case (2008 Nissan Altima 3.5) it instructs you to remove things that are not necessary.For instance; to remove the radiator on this Altima it instructs you to remove the front tires and fender splash shields. Why? Upon doing so, I realized there was nothing to be gained. Easier for me to remove the air box and electric fans which allows access to the automatic trasmission lines and lower radiator hose.

It is a big help when you need to buy part’s for the car.

This repair manual covers most things you will encounter. Only a small handful ofdetails of different part names are not covered. But for most things you need are in there.

Could have a better wiring diagrams

Haynes manuals are always a defacto go to for any do it yourselfer. Amazon appeared to have one of the best prices at the time for this relatively hard book to get a hold of. It's one of those "I hope I never have to use it, but glad I have it!" things. A little bit like a spare tire really. Ever try to change a silly headlamp bulb in those composite headlamps? This is like a printed version of YouTube. (Except you won't miss the part where you have to go along to the store with the video maker, actually shopping for the bulb or watching what they think is cute, when their kids play with the tools...) The only tiny disappointment was the shipping time. It was a bit protracted, but as I said it seems to be a bit of a tough book to find. Worth the wait.
