I can’t believe these work. But they do. I’m a chronic migraine sufferer who gets migraines at least every other day. In the past month, in an attempt to not require so many Rx, I’ve overhauled my regime. Started taking CBD oil in the AM, again in the PM with liquid magnesium and that helped. I was still getting migraines pretty frequently. We live in Kansas City where the weather changes dramatically about every 6 hours so I thought I’d try these. I will start to get a headache, put these in, and it dissipates. This morning, I woke up with a familiar pain starting in my neck and head, put these in, and TEN MINUTES LATER...nothing. I wish I had found these before! They look a little silly and my husband laughs at them but it’s worth it! :)

Here's my thoughts on MigraineX... I received them yesterday and I wish I wasn't having to use them yet, but unfortunately the barometer is all over the place today. The MigraineX app is basically worthless since it didn't forecast the episodes we're having today. Barometric episodes started early this morning so by the time I woke up the headache was already there. That said, I put the earplugs in when I got up and within 30 - 40 minutes my headache was much better without taking anything! However, it's difficult to hear and they make my ear canals itch terribly so I'm always fiddling with them. Directions say to wear 2 - 4 hours and no more than 12 hours. I'm not sure if the headache will come back when I take them out? But cannot imagine wearing for 12 hours and our barometric episodes can last much longer than that! So bottom line, it's nice to know I can get some relief from these horrible headaches but it's not a perfect solution.

I know these are supposed to be comfortable (apparently they are like the earplanes earplugs, but made to be more comfortable for longer use), but they are excruciating. I might have slightly smaller ear canals than most adults, but not to the extent that I've ever had issues with earplugs before. I put these in before I went to bed, anticipating a rise in barometric pressure. I struggled for 30+ minutes trying to get them in a comfortable position, but even if I could get them to not hurt while sitting up I couldn't lay down and put any weight on the sides of my head. I finally fell asleep and woke up 6 hours later in incredible pain with a full-blown migraine! My ears continued to hurt for another 24 hours, and there is no way I could have put these earplugs in if I already had a migraine coming on.The app is not very good. It only sporadically gives the alerts when you aren't in the app, so you have to constantly check, and even then it's not very intuitive. The instructions are minimal, I even looked to see if there was a paid version that had more information because this app is so bad yet they promote it like crazy. I could do just as well checking the weather every day to see what the barometric pressure is doing.I might try the child size earplanes to see if that does anything. My neurologist recommended I try these MigraineX, but after one use I know there is no chance of them working for me. Their website offers a money-back guarantee, but from what I've read that's only if you purchase directly from them! If you order through Amazon you have to return through Amazon and pay return shipping, hope for a refund, etc. That seems shady to me, either stand behind your product fully or not at all.

Has helped reduce migraines. The app alerts help remind me to be careful of other triggers because a weather related migraine is on the way. As suggested I keep some in the freezer but also keep a pair in my purse for when I'm not home. In my opinion the app was better at alerts prior to the last couple of updates. I sometimes have itchy or tingly ears prior to a migraine so I also insert the earplugs when I notice that feeling and I believe it has reduced the number of migraines I have.
