Are the attachments made of stainless steel?

Has anyone had an issue with the beaters rusting? I didn't purchase mine on Amazon but I never read anywhere that said they were not dishwasher safe.

Can I make pizza dough by using the dough hooks from this hand mixer

I can't figure out how to close the door on the snap-on case. It doesn't do me any good if the attachments fall out. Help, please.
