LODGE INLODGE.EC7D13, Inoxidable, Oyster White

Very disappointed came with clear damage in production and the quality control just sent it a way, so I had to do the running around to return something that shouldn’t of been sent, a bit sick and tired of everything I order later has to get returned for different reasons things missing,faulty,and falsely advised.

Love my Dutch oven! Highly recommend Lodge! Have several different sizes and use them all, bonus they look so pretty on range when not in use!:)

Love this pot - great quality and good pricing.

Bought the white 7.5 qt. Out of the box, it was gorgeous. I absolutely love cooking in this pot. It's great for soups, sauces, stews, chili's, roasts, and so much more. I'd rather cook in something like this than one of the modern pressure cookers. It makes the flavors more authentic and I believe this is how cooking should be done. But.... it chips very easily. The first time I used it, I was washing it in the sink and when I turned it over to clean the bottom, a piece of one of the handles chipped. There have been several other small chips since them. None in area where cooking is done, but enough to add an element of disappointment. These chips will rust too, so you have to be really careful with it. Love everything else about it and we even keep it on display on our counter top for a farmhouse feel. Would order again; in fact, thinking about ordering a 6 qt just to have a slightly smaller one.

Ordered the 7.5qt Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven on Dec 17th, with 2-day delivery and expected it to arrive before Christmas, but the two days turned into 10 days and it didn’t arrive until Dec 27th. By the time it arrived, the intended recipient had already left town so now I’ll return this item because I had to come up with a different gift. Aside from the late delivery, the Dutch Oven is nice. The edges of the pan that aren’t coated with enamel are not as smooth as I would like, but it’s still functional and pretty in the oyster white color. The 7.5qt size is very large and would easily hold a big roast or whole chicken. Overall, this Dutch oven appears to be well made and I’m sure it would be used a lot.
