Great Meter
It isn't a Fluke, but for the price this is the best in it's class. The features are abundant and necessary to me as an HVAC Technician. I use this meter every day and it holds up well. The tolerance levels are pretty good, and when in use the tolerance seems to be in range. I love the dual display, it is very effective. The top reading is where you will read your amperage, and that is the only place you will read it. The display can be hard to see sometimes. For instance, when checking resistance it can be difficult to see the "k", which indicates thousands, next to the Ohm's symbol, the Omega sign. You may have to turn the meter sideways to get a good look, which can be difficult in tight applications.Other than that minor gripe I love the meter and would certainly replace it with the same model if this one blows.

Hands down, best clamp meter in the HVAC industry
I am a certified heating & air conditioning service tech and I ordered this meter as a backup for my fluke 902 while I sent it in for warranty and I fell in love with it. I have gotten my 902 back and still, I continue using the phoenix. The backlight is brighter, the built in magnet is very convenient and it has built in ncv. This is by far the best value for an accurate, dependable hvac multimeter that is loaded with features

This meter replaced a Fluke
Replaced a Fluke 902 that was stolen from me with this meter. My multimeter has to be TRMS for HVAC and VFD applications. My intention was to use it temporarily until I felt like getting another 902. My partner uses a Fluke model, so I began comparing various readings with his and was always within Tenths. I began to respect this meter tenfold, since Fluke is the king of meters in eyes of most. It takes a little getting used to coming from the 902, but I like the compactness even with clamp meter, which was one of 902's drawbacks. There is a slight delay with readings, but it's trivial and not a deal breaker. I appreciate the magnet and LED light also, and the backlight is nice and bright. Good quality and value. My purpose is not to bash the 902, but to help others make an objective decision. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat, but do not be reluctant to buy this meter because it's not a Fluke. You won't be disappointed. I've used for about 6 months without issue so far. Haven't used much with VFD's yet.

which I don't like waiting for
Display a bit hard to see, but has light that eats battery. I try not to use that. Takes 10 full seconds to read capacitance, which I don't like waiting for. Great to have multimeter and clamp meter together. Saves carry two which is not practical for me, and thus saves expensive trips in and out to service vehicle. Rugged enough, unless of course I drop it from somewhere. Not a big fan of case. Threw it away for faster access, but really should have protection for it. The magnetic flux connection of the clamp has gotten debris on it, weakening it (false reading of no current) - which could prove dangerous. Still, feel strongly it is a great meter. Nice clamping feature for reading in-rush current. Could give it 4 stars for display legibility, but I looked around a lot and chose this. Had also bought and returned a big monster from Amprobe, before finally settling on this. This fits nicely in a tool bag.

Nice Instrument that works
This is a very nice instrument. I've used it for voltage, current and frequency measurements on several occasions. It works very well and is a pleasure to use.

Works great, fits well
HVAC student. Works great, fits well, CAT III, has all the functions I need. Price is perfect for me. Pro Tip: if you are HVAC student try to get a set with a temp clamp.

Always have used fluke for hvac, enjoy having one meter for a good price instead of the more expensive meters that don't have all the options I need. Durable and reliable meter.

Used daily for the past 5 years. No issues.
I've used this almost daily for 5 years and it's still going strong. I'm not using the original leads as they lost a fight against 600volts. The meter works great though. The temperature probe/wire works but I prefer to use a proper thermocouple as the wire insulation started to fray even with little use.

One up on Fluke for the Extras
4/5 so far cause the only thing I don't know yet is if it will last.I have had it for 6 months and I use it daily. If your sick and tired of fluke not having the bells and whistlers that this meter has then just buy it. for the price its worth it. It also has a POT inside the battery case so you can calibrate a K probe. A magnet on the back of it. WHY does fluke not have these perks ?!?!.

As an electrician that relies on this meter daily, I couldn't be happier. Great set of useful features and accessories that you don't get in a fluke brand meter without incurring outrageous costs. Quite rugged. My last UEI meter lasted 4 years of terrible abuse and I expect this to be similar.
