Allersoft Cotton Body Dust Mite and Allergy Control Pillow Protector, 20 by 72-Inch

Titles says it all, ordered 72 inche, item came at 70 inches, not 72, then after a wash in hot water (as indicated in instruction) and low temp dried, it turned into a 66 inches. I have never seen such a thing with any kind of material in my life. I have paid to get the 72 inches and expected perhaps 1 inch reduction, not six.Most of their products claim it's 300 thread count and mean pore size 2.6 microns, but six inches shrinkage... I highly doubt this thing is as close-knitted as they claim.I highly doubt that this item really protects from any kind of allergy, after having used some of their other product since 2 weeks, none of my symptoms have improved, they actually got worse.I have contacted the business via their email about this issues, plus the fact thatt another body pillow protector came with the tread coming undone, yet I was completely ignored by them.They might have been good some time ago, perhaps some non allergic customers are satisfied with the items, but stay away from the "National Allergy" scam. Read the negative reviews of their other products, this company is doesn't care about their customers, their money or their health.

Update because my most recent experience with this cover wasn't great. I bought a second giant body pillow case with zipper but this time there were a lot of threads stuck in the zipper. I had to cut them out to get it working, which was frustrating. Not as good as the company has been in the past.Previous review:I bought this brand of pillow protector because I have it for my standard size pillows and my king size pillows and the quality has always been really good. The zipper Works nicely. The thread count is nice. It isn't particularly be soft or crunchy. But it does great to protect my pillow.The only thing that I would like to see added on is a zipper pocket. A little thing for the zipper to tuck into. I solve for that by opposite putting the pillow case on. So the zipper is on the closed end of the pillow case.I like that it's just as tall as me! In fact taller. I am 5' 10" and this thing is taller than me. It's as long as my couch seen here!Protip: Put it on like pantyhose or a condom. Either scrunch it all up at one end and work it on. Or turn it inside out and roll it on.

Great product. Fit my pillow great. Great quality fabric. Haven’t exactly tested waterproofing but I have had a few small spills and my pillow underneath is still white. Washed and dried as instructed with no problems. Definitely recommend and will buy again.

Comfortable, easy to use.

I am highly allergic to dust (if I inhale too much I end up with a lingering cough for days) and this pillowcase has helped limit my dust mite exposure. Not to mention it does help make the pillow more slippery when trying to put a pillowcase on it, making it slide in a bit easier!
