Heno de Pravia Natural Bath Soap 18

Ernest Hemingway's soap which he discovered when he fought in the Spanish civil war in the 30's. The soap is magical, lightly refreshing yet never overpowering. I use the slivers of it left over from whole bars after showering with it for months, in my shaving soap dish to lather up with a brush and shave with it, much as was done back when Hemingway used it almost 100 years ago. Decided to try a different bar soap just to change things up. I've never tried this brand before but the reviews sounded encouraging. For the best unit pricing I bought the Heno de Pravia Natural Bath Soap 18 bars. I was surprised to see the bar soap is sage/green colored. However, when used it is just bubbly and no color. The scent is wonderful and gentle. I live in extremely hard water area and this bar lathers easily and rinsed clean. Good incentive to wash more frequently. Easy to hold and doesn't become too slippery when wet. I used for both shower and hand washing. Remarkable job in the shower. More cost effective than a body wash. Easy to store and can be used to scent drawers of clothing or leave in the car to improve odors. You can't use body wash as a deodorizer. All positive review, no criticism.

Smells so good! Brings back nostalgic memories, scent is same like during the 80s. This pack is priced reasonably. Scent lingers hours after shower.

I first tried Heno de Pravia Natural Bath Soap several years ago while in Colombia. I remember thinking to myself, "What an awesome soap"; great, lasting natural fragrance and left one feeling really clean. So on our most recent trip back to Colombia last February into March I saw Heno de Pravia soap again in a grocery store. It brought back memories and I remembered how much I (we) had liked it so I bought four bars. Back home again, when the last bar was used up I wondered would I have to wait until our next trip to Colombia to buy some more? And then it occurred to me to go online and lo and behold, found I could order it on Amazon.com, (through Latino Wholesale), eighteen bars of it for an incredible price. So we now have more than a year's supply. Heno de Pravia Natural Bath Soap is a great soap, hands down the best I've ever used, and evidently very popular among those who know of its existence. I love this soap! You can smell the scent even an after an hour or so of using it. I ordered 18 soap bars, which come individually wrapped in sets of 3. The soaps arrived before estimated date. I will definitely buy again!
