Bought for bleaching well water
These test strips worked great for making sure I got enough chlorine in my pipes to make sure the coliform bacteria would be killed. It was a little tough when flushing the chlorine out to tell if there was no chlorine or just very little but that's not the fault of these. I just used test strips meant for under 10 ppm for making sure it was clear of chlorine when I was done.

Important item for kitchen sink to clean loads of dishes.
Excellent product. My church (Ebenezer AME Church) has started a "Soup Kitchen" and it is needed in the water for cleaning the dishes etc.👍

They Work!
We use these in our business and they are easy to use and accurate. They come with so many in the container and you have to be delicate with them. DO NOT OPEN THE CONTAINER NEAR WATER. I know that sounds ridiculous but it happens and they will all be ruined even with a little drop. They accurately measure and you get more than enough to experiment with. I was able to test our water and experiment with them and we still have the same container. They are tiny and stick together so I use tweezers and it's a breeze.

Ace job
I have jugs of chlorine bleach that have been open for awhile, and I wanted to check their potency. When I dipped the Bartovation test strip into the chlorine, the area where the strip was submerged turned white and the edge of the saturated area changed color. Another reviewer had mentioned this happening, and I feared I’d received a similar “bad batch”. I then reread the instructions which clearly state the strips are *not* to be used in undiluted bleach! (There’s nothing like reading the instructions, Grasshopper.) So I tried again, this time with a diluted bleach solution, and voila! Perfection. Here’s the entire fine print about what solutions will and will not work with these strips:IMPORTANT NOTE: This strip was designed specifically for restaurants to test chlorine sanitizers in three part sinks. It will work for testing anything in the range of 10-200 PPM. IT WILL NOT work for testing tap water, pool water, undiluted bleach, or anything that uses Quaternary Ammonia as the active ingredient.
