Q: Can I connect Nanoleaf Shapes with the Nanoleaf Light Panels or Nanoleaf Canvas?

No, the Nanoleaf Shapes are not compatible with Light Panels or Canvas. You can connect any shapes together - Hexagons, Triangles,& Mini Triangles. All of our products can operate together in the Nanoleaf App even if they're not physically connected.

Q: How panels are mounted to the wall? Will they damage my wall?

Mount your panels with the included double-sided tape onto any smooth and flat surface. When you mount them, leave the ends of the tape sticking out from the Mounting Plate so you can pull them along the wall later for a safe and easy removal.

Q: Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?

No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.

Q: What is the difference between a Smarter Kit and an Expansion Pack?

Every Nanoleaf Smarter Kit has everything you need to set up the lights. It includes a Controller and a Power Supply unlike Nanoleaf Expansion Packs. An Expansion Pack is an addition to a Smarter Kit which cannot be used without owning a Smarter Kit.

Q: What is the maximum amount of panels that will work with the included 42W Power Supply?

The maximum amount of panels per included Power Supply is 22 for the Hexagons, 28 for the Triangles, and 77 for the Mini Triangles. If you are ever in doubt, check out the PSU Calculator on our website.
