Rizzoli & Isles: The Complete Sixth Season [DVD]

I have ALL the seasons of Rizzoli & Isles and Season Six certainly does not disappoint. Well...other than the cliff hanger at the end of the final episode. It's like "Who shot J.R.?" all over again and I'm going to go NUTS until the next season comes out as I don't have regular T.V. hook-up so I can't watch this during the regular season. So disappointed to hear that Season 7 is their last season. Ms. Harmon and Ms. Alexander are a great pair on the screen and are such a joy to watch. For those who believe young girls have too few role models these two DEFINITELY foot the bill! They're bright, funny, strong, caring, and show respect to each other and those around them. One comes from a working class background, the other from a family of means -- yet, you see that none of that matters...like TRUE friends. I understand that as mothers "in real life" they probably decided they wanted more time to spend with their children before they're grown and out of the house -- good move, I must say, as a woman and a mom. This series could have gone on for a number of years more as the writing continued to be phenomenal (unlike many shows). At least the ladies will be going out on top!! Truly, if you enjoyed one of the episodes in the past five seasons, you'll love adding this to your video collection.

My sister introduced me to this show a few seasons ago. I do my best to watch every episode in order and get very upset if I have to miss one. Luckily, with Amazon Prime I can still see a show I missed the very next day. The banter between the cast members is what I enjoy the most. Even though each episode contains a crime, they always come through to solve the mystery. All of the characters have a great interaction, and they seem like they really care about each other. And Jane and Maura? What a mismatch! But somehow it works. The older male detective is bouncing around the idea of retiring. I hope that doesn't happen because he is such a complement to the other characters, and I love his droll sense of humor. I actually remember when he starred in "Animal House" the movie. Now I am showing my age (and his).

Our family love this show a lot!!! It was getting better and better quality with every new season. All actors are playing amazing!!!! The only one thing we don't like... it is that there is THE ONLY 7 seasons! We would be glad to watch it forever!!!

Always entertaining , solid storylines Murder mystery great job writing trying to figure out who done it. great wardrobe Dr. IslesDetective Razzoli and Chief Medical Examiner Dr Isles solve crimes in Boston .Along with great cast⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just love this show. The banter between Rizzoli and Isles is perfect. Like a lot of people, I've noticed that Isles hasn't been as involved in the episodes as Rizzoli (ALL the Rizzolis). But, it's still a good show.I really like Bruce McGill and am glad he gets more screen time. I've always liked Lorraine Bracco. She can sometimes be way too "east coast whiny". But, when she's not being whiny, I enjoy her on this show.I wish they would make Frankie's character less doofy. Even though he comes off as a good detective, he also is a bit dopey. Not a fan of that. I am glad they stopped including the other Rizzoli brother's hapless life in the show.Overall, it's a good show.

I have enjoyed this series, and I am sorry to see it end. There was something appealing about two strong women in law enforcement, especially as Angie Harmon carried a gun. I have always been a big fan of both Angie Harmon since before Law & Order. I have always been a fan of Bruce McGill since Magnum, P. I.; he was a guest star. I hope they both return to something I can watch regularly soon. Plus, there are so many other interesting characters: Angela, Frankie, Jr., and others. They did end the series in a logical way, but I hope they will do some kind of reunion, too. The friendship between the two main characters was so believable, too, as were most of the relationships on the show. I was glad to see both Angela and Sgt. Detective Vince Korsak end the series in happy and healthy relationships, and the possibility of one for Frankie, Jr., and Nina. I was saddened by the death of both Detective Barry Frost and Lee Thompson Young, the actor who played him; I loved that character and Young did such a great portrayal of him. It was nice that they did a little tribute to him, but I would have preferred to see the character as he and the series developed. I will miss new episodes, but the DVDs of the seven limited seasons will be some solace. I wish it had lasted longer

Rizzoli and Isles is a very special cop drama and it's our families favoriteWhat makes it a different kind of show and all the other one combine what makes it a different kind of show and all the other 1 combine the interactions between a homicide squatter large city ( Boston) With the coroner's office. They work together for the current goal solving crimes.Rizzoli and Isles is also a family story about how the reason why family and the extended members including friends and coworkers can overcome personal issues and still be effective at their job. They are caring and loving and support of each other not to mention the fact they have their new TV moments and their little quirks.

Auch in dieser Staffel lässt die Qualität der Serie nicht nach. Schade das mit Staffel 7 Schluß ist.

Me gusta mucho la serie por la combinación de personajes y tramas. La recomiendo.

Je suis fan depuis la saison 3 où j'ai découvert la série !Pouvoir suivre la saison 6, 8 mois avant sa diffusion à la télé et en français s'il vous plait, un vrai bonheur.Je trouve que la saison a un peu de mal à démarrer mais alors après, cela monte crescendo.... ou alors est-ce moi qui connaissant le fil rouge de cette saison n'avait qu'une hâte....qu'il démarre. Le seul hic de cette saison est le final... Heureusement sur Youtube j'ai pu voir les 2 premiers épisode de la 7.... qui clôturent donc ce fameux fil rouge...Merci à Amazon de nous faire profiter de cette série, j'attends maintenant que vous proposiez la saison 7
