The Ultimate Craigslist Guide: Sell quick, buy right, travel free, make easy cash and so much more

I would give this self published book a few stars for interesting ideas, but it is way too expen$ive for what it is.The author states that he used to make upwards of $10 million dollars a year "seven figures" and then lost it all in the real estate crash, now gets all kind of discounts and such on craigslist. Not sure why this needs to be in the book as is just makes me question the truth of the rest of the book - but anyway -I think it's also misleading to label this the "ultimate craigslist guide" - there is very little specific craigslist information in this book. It's essentially a collection of recycled success guru ideas such as visualizing what you want, giving more than your receive, yada yada - I've heard most of this before.The rest is a core sales idea that is applied over and over to different approaches to making money or getting free stuff or services via craigslist, which would probably work sometimes if you are an outgoing, aggressive people person (with plenty of natural "hustle").I'd be satisfied at 99 cents or so, definitely feel ripped off at the actual price I paid for this. I just don't believe the author has actually successfully used most of these ideas.

I read your book about The Ultimate Craigslist Guide about maximizing craigslist and loved it. I was a CL hustler as a youth and sold cars, gift cards, electronics, traveled free, etc. & your insights on CL are great. I can tell you've really done it and you'll make it easy for people dreaming of using craigslist well for business or personal purposes to do so. The Ultimate Craigslist Guide will shorten the learning curve for crafty craigslist use for anyone. I gave it to my brother to read and will have my nephew read it before I hire him to help with posting on CL for me.Thanks for writing this and sharing the info! This is a game changer!

A LOT OF COMMON SENSE IN THE FRONT WITH A LOT OF "SOUNDS EASY BUT YOU HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH A LOT OF HOOPS" IN THE BACK. I really think the book could have been reduced to 30 pages or less. A lot of filler!

The descent reviews this guy has received must have been paid testimonies, Or else his own personal account. I don't meant to be rude, However, I wasted money and time on this book. I was looking for tips and maybe some insight on how to utilize craigslist in a more effective way, and neither was available. Maybe I should write a book on effective sales strategies on craigslist. I've sold over 100 items, and I usually double my money. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it....Or at least don't waste your money on this book....

not as detailed as i hoped, the ideas are not all that original. i did learn some things i would have never thought of on my own,

I was looking for a good book to help me learn "how to" effectively place ads on Craigslist. The book delivered that and a lot more. It opened my thinking to many more possibilities using Craigslist. My primary objective was how to construct an ad & subject line for maximum results, timing for placement, and any other tips to get good results.

I taught computer applications for 19 years. I would not have let Mr. Hightower pass my basic MS Office class. The Many spelling, formatting and basic word processing errors that are here, more than equal the spotty, scattered information that this wee, more of a bad term paper, displays. F on all accounts. Go back to class and pay attention this time!
