Good product
Was looking for something that my dog can’t escape from. I think this will work! Wish the leash was longer.

Works great!
Makes directing your pupper much easier when he/she is learning to walk on a leash!

Not for small lap docile dogs
I sent it back. I just ordered the wrong thing as Jasper doesn't pull -he follows along like the 8 lb Yorkshire mix he is and doesn't need a harsh restraint.

Should Work, But Doesn't Work For Us
I ordered this harness because my small but mighty Havanese dog pulls so much that walking with him is not fun. While I like this harness and I believe it's comfortable for our dog, it has not eliminated nor even lessened his pulling. Still, I feel better using it because at least he isn't strangling himself when he pulls now. We are going to try additional training and will keep looking for a more effective no-pull harness.

Buy a good collar for yourdog
You are not pulling on the dogs neck,if he is in a hurry. This Collar you attach the leash on the back! No choaking or gaging. One of the best buys, especilly if you have a small dog.

The quality is fantastic and if I had a large dog I would ...
Review for the harness: The quality is fantastic and if I had a large dog I would probably purchase again. For small dogs though, beware. The measurements are not completely accurate. The x-small size is still too big for my 12 lb. Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix even though his measurements are within the range listed (albeit, he is on the very low end, so I took a risk in making the purchase, but I'm just putting this review out there so someone else with a similar size dog does not make the same mistake).Review for the seller: Because it ended up being too small, I contacted the seller. At first contact they seemed fantastic. Even though their voicemail inbox was full, she replied to my email very quickly. Her email response asked me to send her pictures via text, so that she could determine if it could be customized to fit him. I sent her the pictures, and she immediately responded, asking me questions (answers to which she would have known if she had just referenced my e-mail again, but whatever) and finally she simply stated that it was too small......Haven't heard from her since. No comment about customization or return. So, unfortunately I will have to return it and lose my money to their "restocking fee." Such a waste of my time, and we still do not have a properly fitting harness for our dog.

My dog stopped pulling immediately!
My 6.8kg mini schnauzer may be small, but walking him used to be something I do not look forward to. He pulls throughout the whole walk and it gives me rope burns (I'm a woman of small-medium build). The Freedom No-Pull Harness stopped this problem immediately (use the hook on front and back method). Now the leash has no tension when I walk him. This harness doesn't teach him not to pull (meaning if I switch to a collar he'll probably start pulling again) I think its the "hook on front and back" method that gives him more resistance in a bigger area. Maybe to him, it feels like i'm using my arm to stop him from pulling because the points of resistance are "wrapped around" his chest and neck. The only reason why I did not give it a full 5 star rating is because the harness is a tad loose on him. I studied the size chart in detail and measured him countless times to make sure he can fit the "extra small" before I placed my order. It still works even though the fit is not a 100%.The harness is of good quality; delivery is prompt; customer service is great. Will buy from again.
