The best for severely dry lips
This is probably THE BEST STUFF on the market for healing badly dried out lips! You could literally look and feel a difference within 1-3 days of use (depending on your severity and frequency/volume of application). I take medication that causes severe dryness so if I don’t moisturize correctly or consistently then they will hurt and crack badly then bleed all over :(. But, my DERMATOLOGIST SPECIFICALLY RECOMMEND this product because of how well it works. And it’s great! It’s “taste”/fragrance isn’t my favorite but it’s not too bad to where I won’t put it on. The product is thick and more like a REAL balm than some of the more “smooth” lip balms that apply rly thinly Bc of the way it’s made. This is a thick consistency and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using this about everyday/every couple of days over the span of a couple weeks now, and I still have about more than half left! Definitely recommend for severely dried lips!

Very moisturizing
I have severe lip dermatitis and I’ve tried practically anything and everything on the market. I get really chapped and red lips. I purchased this as an alternative method. Now the smell is horrific, but you can get past it. It doesn’t taste the nicest either, but it works! I’ve been using it for almost a week now, and I’ve noticed it has helped the redness a lot. It’s moisturizing as well. The pot it comes in is small, but I feel that I would last me awhile. It’s a great product.

Amazing on my super dry finger cuts!
YES, someone mentioned that they put this on their small cuts on their fingers when they get super dry...so I tried it and it WORKS! I put it on them when I go to bed and they are much better by morning.

Eczema sufferers with itchy, irritated lips? This is magical.
I've been plagued with itchy, red liplines every winter season for YEARS due to my eczema. I've been forever questing to find a product that I could rely on, but the products I've found that "work" only do so for a small period of time (which is better than nothing when your liplines are cracked AND sore AND itchy AND peeling). I have honestly tried dozens and dozens and DOZENS of products, with the most successful being Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning, Aquaphor Healing Ointment, straight up Cortizone cream, and Amorepacific Moisture Bound Lip Treatment... ...until I got my hands on Dr. Dans CortiBalm Lip Balm Jar. This stuff is frickin' magical. I usually have to switch lip products every week or so when I have bad lip flare-ups because even my go-tos don't work longer than that, but Dr. Dans is... I have no words for how amazing this stuff is. I used it a few times on the first day I got it when my lips were terrible, but I think the following day I only had to used it once, and now I use it maybe once every 2-3 days - and usually I'm applying SOMETHING every couple hours this time of year. I'd say it took less than 3 days for this stuff to completely heal my lips. The cost is well worth it because I don't need to use it every day. If you're an eczema sufferer like me, you know what it's like to gamble money on products. This is ABSOLUTELY worth a try if you have lip problems.

Relief after 5 months of redness and itching!
My 6 year old had itchy peeling lips and the area surrounding his lips turned red and rough. It started at the beginning of the pandemic, so we didn’t want to take him to a doc. I tried it all. Home remedies like coconut oil and sunflower oil and even OTC products like Colloidal oat, Aveena, aquaphor lip balm, petroleum jelly, neem balm, burt’s bees and so many more. None of them helped with all of it. It would either help the itching or the peeling, but not both. He’s also a kid, so he can’t help but lick and pick at it as much as he tries not to. This was the first product that addressed both Issues. My friend who is a pharmacist recommended it. I will say that after a week of continuous use, we stopped for a day and the itching started back so this might be a bigger issue, but it has been so wonderful to see his lips back to normal after only 4 days of using this product. Highly recommend!

Temporary relief.
This was recommended by my dermatologist for my extremely dry lips. It does provide some relief but you need to constantly reapply. A bit pricey.
