Cheap, but with aesthetic appeal....
So this is a really cheaply built desk, but it's also pretty cheaply priced. I was looking for a small desk I could put in the middle of my computer room that has a corner door, and this little beauty fits the bill perfectly. The top is pretty thin, (I measure only 5/8" thick) but it's enough to hold an articulating double monitor clamp-stand. I purchased the NYCCO Dual Monitor Stand, Heavy Duty Desk Mount Fully Adjustable Fits 2 Screens Up To 30 along with this desk, for around $100 for both, and I'm quite pleased with the combo, considering the cheap price point. It holds dual 23" monitors and a 15" laptop with ease. The cable management holes open up into the cabinet compartments, which is both a pro and a con. Ideally, there would be an additional hole leading out from the cabinet, to run power, speaker, LAN, etc. cables to outside the desk, but lacking one, I drilled my own. To be fair, there are 2 knock-outs in the nail-on cardboard backer plate, but that didn't quite suit my needs. You know what they say... "You can please most of the people most of the time, etc..."Something that surprised me, was the usable width of this desk. It seems smallish judging by the front and back side faces, but the way the side corners stretch out, there's a good amount of space for paper, peripherals, drinks, bags of chips, kicking your feet up, a place for your cat to sit, whatever ;-)I wasn't too excited about it when I first set it up, since it wobbles quite a bit on a hard floor. Two cabinets, connected by a top plate has an inherent design to not sit real level. One of the cabinets inevitably wobbles around and the whole thing seems flimsy. Once you add a couple monitors and a little weight to it, and let it set for a couple days seems to settle it down pretty well. Of course if it were sitting on carpet, I'm sure it wouldn't even be noticed. There seems to be plenty of foot room underneath, and the cabinets provide a decent amount of storage. A keyboard drawer would be beneficial, and I'll be adding one in the future, but with no sidewalls to speak of, I'll have to figure out a drop down type of hangar for it. The thin 5/8" top will make it a little more difficult, but all in all, I'm happy with it as is for now. Only thing I think I'd reconsider, is ordering the light oak instead of the dark cherry. Minor scratches, animal hair, light dust, etc., just show up too easily on the darker color. I have lots of black (furniture, electronics, speakers, drapes, etc.), but this desk seems to hold a lot of static and really attracts the dusty stuff.

Is nice table but
So loose! Flimsy, no matter how much you tightened the screws. Fighting if i should suck it up and use it as is OR to disassemble the entire thing and return it. Let me point out that this thing has over a 100 screws!!!! What a pain!

Love This Desk
It is a great deal for the money. Use coasters if you need to sit drinks on it. It's made solid but not indestructible. If you tighten everything up good enough, it should hold up very well. I was surprised at the ease of putting it together, and that means quite a bit to me after just going through a major joint replacement surgery. Put it together all by myself with just a screwdriver and hammer. Instructions were easy enough. What I absolutely love is the versatility! Because it isn't really just a corner desk -- the back is not cornered, it's straight, so one could use it as a straight desk against the wall if preferred. I couldn't believe it could be put together in a matter of six steps, but that was all it took. The worst part of this was that it is indeed too heavy for one person to carry upstairs (delivery guys won't bring it in). I had to unbox the entire thing in my tiny 3 x 3 foyer and take it up piece by piece. It's a basic desk designed perfectly for those of us with small spaces. The outward shelving keeps the knees from getting bumped and bruised constantly, the front of the tabletop has slightly rounded edges as well. Once getting it all together, it's not hard at all to move around. The desktop fits my 17-inch laptop, Wacom tablet, lamp, pencil holder, letter-holder, mouse and pad, and several other items that I like keeping nearby. Additional two-shelf storage on each side is another great thing about this desk. The top shelves are adjustable. What you might not like is the rough-around-the-edges finish and some peeling in some spots, but on mine there is just one slightly peeling edge and it's pretty well hidden. No other dents or scratches are visible. Another disappointment would be that my printer doesn't fit in it but what's more important to me is the comfort while using my computer which is a great relief after many years of all the wrong desks.

Functional, Modest Corner Desk is Best Value for Price
If you are looking for a functional, unobtrusive corner desk for a good price, this is the one to get. Though not from IKEA, it has all the familiar traits - composite boards with the locking bolts, blocky angles, and a basic dark single-color look. All these things are perfectly fine with me, as I just need a place for my monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. that doesn't draw a lot of attention by trying to be something it's not (like any office furniture you see in stores). The sliding drawer for the keyboard and mouse with the hinged door is a nice way to keep it from looking cluttered, although it is not the most comfortable thing to rest your forearms on.The shelves underneath the desk are a big plus - there's actually a decent amount of room to stack things so they are not all over the surface of the desk. This desk fits perfectly in the corner of my small apt living room - it takes up very little space. If you want something that looks a little bit more solid and/or elegant, you'll have to spend at least twice as much. In my opinion, a corner desk doesn't need to be a centerpiece of your living room, so something reliably functional at a good value is the winning formula.

Buyer beware
This desk is easy to put together and quite solid, for the price. It's also great for maximizing space in a small office. However, buyers should be aware that the desk does not extend all the way into the corner: rather it is across the corner. There is a triangle 17"x17"x24" at the back of the desk that is completely open, so some kind of shelf solution is needed if you want to use that wasted space and you don't want stuff falling over the edge! (See photo). This is not evident in the product photo, so now I have another project...Edited to add: sorry, I chose the wrong colour for the review, but the issue is the same!
