I love Spanx! At first they feel very restricting but with time, you will get used to it. It makes any outfit instantly fit better. I like that it smooths out the tummy, butt, and leg area. This style in particular is high waist. I have a short torso and they are bit long for me, however I like that because they stay up high... like right underneath my bra and it feels secure. These Spanx are completely seamless. The seller is good. The product arrived on time and in good condition. I usually buy these from Nordstroms, but I didnt have time to go to the mall and ordered them via Amazon. I belive the price is comparable to department stores. They are a bit pricey but totally worth it. I got my mom into them and now she has an entire Spanx collection because she loves them so much. I must note, I am pretty petite (5'2, 127 lbs) but I have problem areas..particularly the tummy. Spanx help my tummy look like its nice and tight. My mom however, is more heavy set (5'2, 180 lbs) and still does wonders for her!

As an active but aging woman of 57 years (5'4" and 128 lbs), I haven't been happy with the lumps and bumps I'm seeing under my yoga pants! These high-waisted Spanx shorts are a perfect solution, gently shaping and smoothing yet comfortable. Unlike another brand I tried (which was made of a heavier elastic fabric), these are super thin, very stretchy, and slippery and disappear even under my white yoga pants. The high waist band stays put and doesn't roll. I especially love that the bottom of the leg line is thin and seamless and disappears. Other brands have a thicker edge which leaves visible lines where they end.

Loved the material and form fits well. The reason I did not like it is because my flab overhangs between where it and my bra meet. Prefer one that has bra attached. Will look for a total one piece SPANX.

Was looking for shapewear to wear under a cocktail dress, and ended up just going without after trying both this and another option. I'm 5'7", 140lbs, and got a medium, which I think was the right size--I could have tried sizing down, but the material is thin enough that I doubt that would have helped. It just didn't provide much smoothing. It was very comfortable and invisible under my dress, it just didn't do anything for me.

If you aren't as tall as a model and don't have a waste longer than 5 feet, don't buy these spanx. I read numerous reviews before buying these specific spanx, but my own review would have been helpful. I am 5"2' and weigh 145. i was sure these we're the spanx for me..... NOPE. I ordered them and had to wear them for the first time at a bridesmaids dress fitting and have never felt more uncomfortable and embarrassed in my life. these things kept rolling down and between my bra pinching off my fat and these things rolling down, the dresses couldn't have looked worse on me. i honestly would have been better off wearing nothing at all- they made me look worse. i could see how they'd be great for someone with a longer torso- but not for we as short women. also- I do NOT care how tall you are- they seem like they would roll down regardless. a taller friend even tried them out and they rolled down on her (she is 5"8' and slender as heck.... so..... yeah.) overall- possibly good for people with long abdomens. freaking HORRIBLE for people with even slightly short abdomens/ waists/ stomachs...good luck!

Oh my Goodness this is next to being born...The material is FAB...Im a Big girl 300lbs I did my measurement but wasn't sure..I slept in it...Comfortable, Im the type of person who cant wait to fling off my compression stockings...This brand was recommended by a friend and beleve me I resended it to another..Exspensive but worth every nickel..Thanks for such a great product looking for more once a month...

This is just the amount of control I wanted to wear under my dress. It is enough firmness to smooth smaller bulges and keep you from having more bounce in your step than you want. However, it does NOT pull you in like a girdle and make you look like you lost 10 pounds. The top doesn't roll down or show a bulge where it ends and the legs fit comfortably and end smoothly. I have a long torso and it fits me just under my bra line. I tried other brands in a store and thought they were very uncomfortable. I feel like I can wear this all day long.

Worked for under my wedding dress, although the top is a little tight and leaves a line in my skin it fit perfectly everywhere else!
