Is it heat-proof? Good for pulling espresso shots? Or will it fall apart and/or burn fingers?

We would not recommend using this item with any liquid that is boiled, heated or at a high temperature. This is basically a cocktail jigger made for measuring alcohol or any other liquid that is at least room temperature. Any item that has a single walled stainless steel with only one layer of stainless steel, then it's not a good idea to put piping hot drink into it.
