Bought for my motorcycle helmet and didn’t pay much attention to the reviews before trying them. Looks great and simple to place. The horns come off easy by hand but stayed on during my rides until I had to take the interstate. 70 mph attempting a lane change I looked to ensure space and one horn flew off, strangely the other horn remained after hours of further driving on the interstate. Unable to recover the piece as it traveled a good distance. If you’re purchasing for a motorcycle helmet you’ll need to do something extra to help ensure they stay on because the magnets are not strong enough to deal with higher speeds. UPDATE: Finally bought a replacement set and while attaching horns back to the old magnets I left the new magnet mounts in the horns as well, far superior holding power with both sets attached, shouldn’t have the same problem again. Nice hack if you do happen to buy a replacement set.

Update: I've now purchased 3 pairs, received 4 (in a shipping mix up, but they told me to keep the freebie!) I've lost a few, that were honestly mostly my own fault (knocked one off in the desert at 1am, was not going shoulder hunting with the rattlers to get it back). The new pairs I plan on kitting out with some new extra-strength neodimium magnets so they hold on a bit better but I can still pop them off to wear my fun fuzzy helmet covers. Honestly I just love the look of these so even if I keep managing to lose them, I'll keeping coming back to buy replacements. I wish they came with stronger magnets to begin with but, oh well. New magnets are like $4 so nbd. At first I absolutely loved these. They look great, they were really easy to install, and seemed to hold on well. They even seemed good at higher speeds, I tested them on a long highway trip, I'm not usually a speed demon but I got up to about 90 with headwind and they didn't budge. I dont tend to go over 75/80 so I figured I was good. However recently I lost one on the way to a friend's house. It came off at some point while I was on the freeway, even though I had gone 70mph max on the way there and not for a long period. I don't know how it managed to come off but I was really disappointed and had to buy a whole new set because they don't sell them individually for replacements. If I manage to lose another I think I'll buy the adhesive pads to permanently affix them to my helmet so I don't lose any more.

I’ve used these horns now for a few weeks, I was on I95 going 130ish and they stayed on! I have two colors to change out, they are great! The red isn’t exactly red, it’s more of a coral so I painted them. Love them!

I love the way they look. I’m absolutely obsessed with them. My biggest complaint is they’re super easy to knock off. I haven’t had any issues doing 40-60 mph with them on my helmet. The first time I bump them with my arm, they fall right off. Which sucks when you’re sitting at a stop sign. Edit: Today, I was getting off the bike and one of the horns fell off and the bottom cap broke off. I was very upset with the cruddy quality and weak magnets. I used super glue to put the bottom cap back on. Just be careful if you take your helmet on and off frequently.

These are a great idea, but the magnets aren’t strong enough. I got 2 different sets for my son’s ski helmet and both sets fell off and were lost the first day he wore them. One set fell off in the lodge before he even went outside…Very disappointing, thank goodness for Amazon returns. Now I need to figure out how to remove the magnet stubs stuck on his new helmet…

All in all this product is fun unique and allows a cool way to style your gear and promote more people to wear helmets. I’m all for products like these. I have now bought three of them and they stay on as if they were bolted to the helmet. All in all great product. However there are some cons to this. My main issue is that if you have even the tiniest scratch or spec of dust on the helmet when you go to put the magnet on IT WILL NOT STICK. Then when you pull it off and try again it’s lost most of its adhesive and you basically have to replace the entire product. Most helmets are not perfect. Even if you try to clean them. All in all good product I just wish they gave you either a second magnet or something to make it a guaranteed stick the first time so we don’t have to replace

I ordered these loving the look of the horns and was really excited to use them. Unfortunately, I had a mishap going on the highway, and one of them flew off. I reached out to Helmet Flairs customer support to see what my options were, and they were super helpful in giving me a solution for making sure it doesn't happen again, and letting me know I could order replacement singles if I needed to. Before I was able to get the replacement ordered, I got another email saying they were going to send me the speed tape stickers, which would make sure I didn't have another on-ramp accident, as well as a replacement horn free of charge. I will absolutely be ordering from them again and in the future <3

Loooooove these horns! I get all kinds of nice comments with them, and they really seem to make people happy as I pass. The horns are great, the magnet mount sicks on easily and the horns pop on in a second. My only issue with them, is the adhesive for the magnet base could be stronger, and I ended up attaching them with my own heavy duty double sided tape. Since then, no issues! Just have to watch for the occasional low tree branch that'll knock them off, but no worries! Just pick them up and pop them back on! If you want to look awesome while you ride, these are for you!
