As always with Cussler FANTASTIC
The Fargos are some of my favorite written characters. They are kind of like the Hart to Hart couple from the old TV drama. Great together and enough money to help others in a understated way. Very well written and a great read for a long international flight - it is not easily put down do the uninterrupted flight is a perfect venue.Clive Cussler was a fantastic writer and I have been a fan since college in the 70's. Each character is well developed and very believable. He has established them and their back story and sticks to it every time he writes about them. Trips to the book store won't be as fun now that he has passed. I am hoping his son will carry on the family business.

Cussler's work must go on
Good book, read All of Cussler's books. Like Remi and Sam's adventures. A little plodding like their last journey in Africa, which was the worst Cussler book I ever read. This book gives the history of the pairs meeting as a poor Sam meets a wealthy Remi and follows her to Greece on a rescue mission. A much better book than the last in the series, The Oracle, which is set in Africa. Hate to see Cussler's passing. I hope his son and the authors, especially Robin Burcell carry on the tradition, which he seems to be. Read 4 Cussler books recently, with the last 2 Kurt Austen books being very good, and the last Isaac Bell as well. This book however, was not as good as the last 3,but better than the last Sam an Remi offering. Good Cussler formula, hate to downplay, but plodding, at times, but worth the read for the couple's history, and how they developed their hunt for treasure. A good beach read, as I have read all Cussler's books on a beach somewhere after diving. The last 4 were a good stay at home reads in this time of pandemic. For that I thank you Mr. Cussler for all the adventure and entertainment you have provided me after I discovered your work in the mid 1980's. Hope your journey continues.

Prequel in the middle
This book really helps the series along by informing on how Demi & Sam became how they are. It's "the start" but needs to be here to be more logical. This shows how they started as a couple to give an understanding of who they are as a couple. This is not and should not be a first read but is a must read.

Great backstory of how the Fargo’s met
Sam and Remi Fargo are again up to their necks in turmoil as they search for a hidden treasure. But what is interesting about this particular story is that it will travel back in time to the day that Sam first met Remi and fell in love.It will give us the back story to their meeting, their dating, their unraveling of a mystery and murder together and then eventually their realizing that Romance was their future. That will be the bulk of the novel and it is a highly entertaining gallop through their falling in love while solving a huge mystery. But it will also give a fast paced story about the antagonist from their first meeting and the mystery on the Greek Isles and a current problem. The antagonist from that first meeting is finally getting out of prison and he is back to cause pain and friction in the Fargo’s lives. So, to deal with this antagonist also means that they will eventually solve a long lost mystery. Is there truly lost treasure to be found, or is it just a myth. That is the question and it will cause lots of pain for everyone.Enjoy!

Good story, twists and turns; Sam/Remi beginnings
Wrath of Poseidon (A Sam and Remi Fargo Adventure Book 12). Good, as usual. But...for this book I found myself picking it up ..reading..put down...come back later. Most Cussler books I don't want to put down. As most of this books span a time frame (starting long long ago, coming to present) -- I'd forget the earlier parts later in the book.SO -- bottom line, good book. I like the Fargo series, but this not my favorite. EXCEPT...this one does start off where Sam and Remi first met which was an interesting story in itself. Of course, I love the Dirk Pitt and Oregon series books too.

Another excellent adventure 😊
Despite being book #12 in the "Fargo" series, this tale is largely set in the past when Remi and Sam first met.Nevertheless, it's the usual cocktail of the search for treasure (in the Greek islands) versus the evil endeavours of the villains. As always, I couldn't put my Kindle down.If you like Clive Cussler's far-fetched yarns, you'll enjoy this one too ☺️....

Clive Cussler.
What a fitting end to such a great story teller, always wanted to know how Remi & Sam really made it together. I will miss Clive's books, and send all my love to his family. I should imagine a few more stories are coming and I hope his son and the others carry on writing for him.

Another action packed story from the Master Storyteller
Wrath of Poseidon (Fargo Adventures) by Clive Cussler, Robin Burcall. An excellent read. An action packed story written by the master of suspense and adventure. The Fargos and friends go looking for Poseidon's Treasure amongst the Greek islands. Discover more than they bargained for!

A Prequel
This is a great read and answers a lot of questions about Sam and Remi in the early days of their relationship. We get kidnapping, gunfights, and of course lost treasure. A good prequel laying the foundations for the novels. Really looking forward to the next in this series just a shame Mr Cussler won't be involved.
