Art book comicsFrank Cho is obviously very talented and is capable in both humorous as serious art. His work is even lovingly crafted, and he acknowledges the debt he owes to his various colorists.The only mar to my mind is that of Amazon's software. With the kindle I can zoom in to check the details. With Kindle for PC, I get no zoom option at attention. I pay the same price for my books, but one format gives complete access and the other, non-proprietary format text so tiny I can't read it? This not only graphic book I've discovered with this problem. Fix it, Amazon.

This book is mainly a collection of comic book covers done by Frank Cho throughout most of his career. It starts off with Marvel covers that feature a lot of his work with Captain Marvel(Carol Danvers), but has a little bit of everything from the Avengers and other titles. The later art is mostly from his work on She-Ra and some Liberty Meadows, though not as much as you might think, given his long career with that series. Throughout the book he supplements it with some sketches, released or unreleased.The art is amazing, but the meat of it is it's mostly eye candy for fans of Cho's work. If you're not a fan, most of this book will probably go unappreciated and you might be better off buying individual comics with his work instead. And as good as this book is, it's probably more satisfying to visit a comic convention and get some sketches and other items from Frank personally, as it is from any artist you like.

A solid, reasonably priced collection featuring various works of Frank Cho's from assorted comics and genres he's worked in. The man is one of the modern masters, I can think of no one who draws comic or strong (esp barbarian/amazon) females better and only 2-3 other artists who are better at other types of fantasy women or comic/sci fi men (seriously, Cho's Spider Man and Daredevil are almost as great as his Wonder Woman or Jungle Girl, his Hulk dang near as good as his She Hulk). When the man is 'bad' he's still one of the best out there, when he's 'good' there's less than a handful which can even be mentioned in the same breath as him so if you buy this book you probably knew what you were getting and you won't be disappointed.

This book's only purpose is to showcase Frank Cho's amazing skills as an artist. Truly one of the best artist working today. Very vivid colors and details in every piece. Frank Cho really knows his anatomy and it shows. Do not buy this book thinking of it as a step by step how to art book. There is no text or explanation as to how Frank Cho developed each piece or an insight into to his methods. Just buy this book to enjoy his amazing skills an artist and jack of all trades.

Frank Cho is perhaps one of the best complete artists out there right now. In this compilation, you'll find an array of drawings and paintings, exalting his ability to portray women! Not to mention, everything else, from abstract to compilcated scenarios, as well as animals from the wild, to aliens and so on. Rendering them from pencil, pen, and painting, it is an absolute eye catcher! It's hardcover and prestige, top quality paper make it more of a collectors item. Grab them while there still cheap...

The artwork is fantastic and that's why I took a risk and bought this book. However, the story is pretty simplistic and doesn't hold up to the beautiful artwork. So if you love Frank Cho's art, buy this book, if you are looking for a great graphic novel to read, you might want to keep on looking.

Frank cho makes drawing look easy

Frank Cho put an amazing amount of work into this book. The great thing is that it's not just a book filled with gorgeous women, it also has all of your marvel favorites loaded in there. If you love comic book art and are a fan of Marvel comics in particular, I highly suggest this book for you coffee table and viewing pleasure.

Que se puede decir del arte de Frak Cho más que es increíble, el único defecto que le veo es que el material de la portada es muy delgado aún para ser la edición de pasta blanda.

A group of random repeated and often unfinished drawings. No story, no congruence. The title drawing is by far the best of the lot. Don't waste your money.

I am a fan of his writing and his artistic style of drawing. If you like his art work you will enjoy this book. Lots of Cheesecake and some pretty amazing looking heroes and heroines.

Ein sehr schöner und hochwertiger Bildband. Was mir am besten gefällt ist die Tatsache das fast von allen Bildern auf der Linken die Skizze und auf der Rechten Seite das Fertige Bild abgedruckt wurde.
